I admire quilts that take a bit of figuring out...it adds to the creativity and handmade aspects that appeal to me!

Love the colors...but sorry, I have never done a quilt with two parts like that (but I would love to!)...no idea how to even begin quilting it!

Mare--awesome that you got it DONE!!! I know some quilts just can't be quilted too much...I tend to over quilt...like hubby says..:What's the point?  You are covering up all the little pieces!

I wish I could become a hand stitched binding convert, but I would never finish a quilt if I did that...I gave up quilting a long time ago because of it, and now that I am back, I refuse to hand sew anything, even the label! Cheesy

Bananaleg--that is a wonderful way to use up yarn!  What pattern is that?  I love the textures and the colors...also, I am tired of stripes as well, so the color block looks fun!

My partner and I are both procrastinators(I think we were the last to mail to each other--ha ha)...I would hardly describe my experience as that beautiful calm face among the chaos! Grin...I think it was more like the "Scream" face among the chaos, panic and frenzy!

Yes, you are odd, but that is besides the point... Grin

klking--I remember when you broke your foot!  You were a knitting machine! and, yeah, I was in a sand storm while visiting Phoenix...one of the most unpleasant things to ever go through...who knew sand could hurt that much!? Ouchy!
