It is a hat fest! Cheesy

Also, the toddler shirt is hilarious!  It would also be suited for a couple of the people I work with...

Mel--you car seat turned out wonderful!  I made a quilt using that fabric a while back!  I used that pattern for a baby quilt but I added a few more rows...still have to find some backing!

Wow--a bit scary that you used a police shirt after he got in a scuffle!  At least you made something that is useful and pretty from it...hope he was ok!

The cow storage bags look useful...I bet they would be great for storing yarn or extra fabric.

I'm here and drooling over your creation!  I love bananas!

I am prepping my garden beds...got lettuce planted and growing already and this year, I am growing Swiss Chard and Kale...I am going to try Yukon gold potatoes again (they rotted last year because of record rain!)...I love this time of year and summer because of homegrown healthy foods we grow on our own...

Light, spring recipes...I will write them down when we start making things...

You are my psychedelic little imp!  Your playful personality can pull off such wild, bright colors and mix of patterns! Cheesy

Love the animal print lining--bonus that it is soft...bonus that there is a two way zip for function...no way anyone could accidentally hit you while you were riding your bike...holy cow...you can see you for miles! Cheesy

I think you make such fun and technically wonderful items...you know I am a fan!
14634  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Crafted Cushion Cover Swap, r2? on: March 23, 2012 01:23:20 PM
That makes sense...I would not want someone who loves to crochet to have to sew me a pillow! And, I would not want to make someone an embroidered pillow!  Unless they like first grade art... Cheesy

That is the one I did!  For one of the twin baby girls!

The one I want to make for a boy is called "On the GO Baby Boy quilt"...it is adorable and easy.

Thanks...I love little swaps that force me to make something out of my familiar territory of fabric or yarn! Cheesy

oh man...I can see where baby got his good looks!  Cheesy  What a proud and handsome man! Those hats are so cute!  I like the grey one a lot!

Thanks!  I find that you have to be very careful with glue sticks...the kind they make for kids does not hold well at all...I get the kind that is purple and turns white and it sticks very well once it is dry...it is more expensive so I only use it for fabric or other materials...with paper, I will use the cheaper brands......ED--I usually do like to stitch but when I do that, I feel like I need to line the card to cover up the stitching inside...I did not have time to do that as I needed to send these cards to someone quickly! Cheesy

awww--cute baby...and the hats are cute, too!
