More stuff to pin!

Lime, the shawl and mitts are wonderful!  I swear that you, jemimah and me all love blues! Cheesy  I also love the notebook!  And what a nice useful yet lovely gift the stamp is!

The moon shrine was so cute, knickertwist...I loved everything you made and received...the gnome house is just too fun!  I think I need some houses to throw at intruders...what a great idea!

thanate--your embroidery is very lovely...such a nice pattern and the colors are gorgeous!

I could not resist...at the quilt show I attended, there was a booth with all leftovers from other people's projects...I got a giant sized baggie with embroidery thread--brand new and never used--for 50 cents!!  Most of it was greens, but there were also about 10 skeins of pinks and 10 skeins of yellows/golds...I got them to make some of those crochet flowers...thanks for the link, that1girl...such cute clips, too!

They look good! They also look like they would store well--like maybe freeze a loaf or two?

I have been wanting to make the English muffin bread on the cooking thread...maybe that will be a weekend cooking chore!

In Pennsylvania, there is a tradition of trying to make interesting meals from whatever is left in the cupboards and fridge...I am sure that is where chicken and waffles came from...or shepherd's pie...it makes me very aware of how much food goes to waste in the US...my hubby and I try our best to use up leftovers..yes, it is very interesting what can be made when you have to...

Ysmeine--there is something special about making do...it does make you creative...I am always reminded of that Dolly Parton song about her patches coat...one of my favorite dresses when I was a child was a dress my mom made from one of her old dresses...I swear I never even knew we were poor! I just thought the dress was beautiful!

I will see if I have a better pic...black is tough to take a picture of...it is a mock cable... Cheesy  very easy and fun!

The yarn is a bamboo blend since T and I were doing washcloths for the bath...

Thanks CLM...I appreciate the info...I bookmarked that site and found that I just need to take my health a lot more seriously...getting older is starting to suck for me...I love veggies and fruits...I just have bad habits that I need to break...being in pain is a great motivator!

Mare--I think having a simple group of go to meal ideas will greatly help me!  I am also dealing with inflammation and agree that it is a source of many many health issues...I appreciate any natural way to keep inflammation down!  I am definitely going to try tumeric and pepper...I was wondering if anyone has tried that juice of the cactus flower that I have seen on the informercials...it sounds too good to be true for inflammation...

I don't do dairy either...it creates too much of a mucus thing for me and I know it inflames my arthritis as well...I love cheese but I found that after about a week, I did not miss it much at all...I rarely eat pizza or foods high in cheese anymore...

I love those flower headbands!  They look so romantic and feminine.

The repurposed suit ipad cover is genius!  I love the Dr. Who plushie complete with the famous scarf!!!

I just think this IYP is one of the best ever...so many fun and interesting projects by all!

I finished the front of my cushion this morning...Cheesy

I need to finish up all my swaps before it is time to garden!

I should be done with the back and closure this weekend...all I am saying is that I am addicted to making pillows...I hope to make two more for my sister as she is redecorating her house and needs some new pillow tops!

Such cute baby things you have been making...I am sure it will put a cramp in your crafting for a while, but please be sure to show off some action shots of your new baby with the things you made! Cheesy
