2  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Party Planning / October Birthday party on: September 18, 2006 08:52:52 PM
Is it wrond to have a costume party for a three  year old who's birthday is on the 17th? This may be the only time I can get away with it without complaints about her always having a birthday that has a halloween theme. Any ideas to get away from the halloween theme?
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / got a question (altering waistline on pants) on: August 09, 2006 01:23:03 PM
I thrifted on old pair of mens golf pants. I had an idea to make them into bermuda shorts. The waist is really high on them and I would like to cut it down to below my belly button. Does anyone have an idea on how successfully move a waist down?
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Gramma sweatshirt revamped(fixed the pics.) on: April 08, 2006 01:37:18 PM
This is literally a sweatshirt my Gramma gave me a long time ago and I never threw it out because it is a Women in the Military shirt and that's sometime we have in common. Anyhow... This is my first time reconstrcting anything so I need suggestions. Should I cut that other sleeve shorter or does it look good the way it is? I don't have a before shot, I don't think that far ahead. Smiley

5  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / decorating my kitchen walls. on: March 08, 2006 04:40:33 PM
Hello everyone. This is only my second post because I am a total lurker. So I have this question about a project I want to do in my kitchen.

I have these mini calendars for desks. I want to use the pictures on them to decorate my kitchen walls. I thought maybe to use mod podge but I don't know how it will look in a small area. WIll it be noticeable? Also I thought maybe I could use starch to make them stick but I'm not sure if that only works with cloth or not. Just curious to see what all you talented d'ecoratuers think about it.
