4901  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Ongoing Wish Swap Round 22 Gallery on: May 24, 2007 01:53:06 PM
I received a few days ago from igobylorib and am finally getting around to posting pictures.

She sent me a beautiful, long purple/silver necklace:

some great orange fabric for my son's quilt I'm planning to make:

I received today from ChristinaCoghill !!

She sent me this most adorable amigurumi pig.  It's now the 5th in my collection and the first sitting one.

So, that wraps this swap up - thanks everyone for participating.  Hopefully someone else will take on the challenge of running another round.

flanman and smithyboy are closely related, that's why I suggested maybe she could borrow them!

I claim Avesthel for:

huge stack of kool-aid packets in all different colors

This is my 5th claim (3 received, 1 mailed)

I live in Alberta, Canada.

Orange cotton fabric that's not too girly.  I'm starting to collect fabric to make my oldest son a quilt and orange is his favorite color - FQ minimum/piece, please

Cotton fabric with trumpets and/or clarinets on it - 1/2 yard minimum, please

Laurel Burch's Hearts and Hummingbirds fabric in lavender - 1/2 yard minimum, please

A candy goodie box (this would be especially fun if you live in a non-North American country.)  I've had 2 such packages before and totally loved them but now I'm out so I'd love more.  No chocolate please as I'm allergic to it.  A few things I like are sour candy, chewy candy, dutch licorice but I won't turn other kinds away

Some tea towels with toppers on them so I can hang them from my stove.  Sewn, knit or crochet toppers are great and any color except black for the toppers and white for the tea towels.

I have plans to make this doll http://www.paradisedolls.com/p083.html (except mine will have silver accents rather than gold) and I'm still in the collecting stage so, I'm looking for:
     - any silver charms that would suit this dress (such as scissors, brush, mirror, etc.)
     - silver old fashioned buttons with pearls in the center,

Draft stopper - either a whimsical snowman like this:  http://www.nextag.com/Whimsical-Draft-Stoppers-from-543346002/prices-html?nxtg=e9150a1c0521-B41449EF57A81ED1 or a more plain one like this:  http://www.improvementscatalog.com/product/id/101933.do but in a nice bright material (or material with snowmen or snowflakes on it.  I'm not looking for someone to buy these ones I'm showing, they are just examples of what I'm looking for - it's for my back door so would need to be long enough to block a standard door.

Cross stitch picture featuring a tulip or summer flowers (not too small, please)

Winnie the Pooh, Tigger or Eyeore crocheted in thread (I already have Piglet and he's getting lonely)

I have a very small wist list but feel free to check it out!

A fabric carrier for either a 9x13 pan or a round casserole dish.

Sewing thread in black, white, yellow, green or purple.

I'm looking for something to hang from my gold chain - either a heart, a ring circled with 'diamonds', or a sandal - I don't want charms, I'd rather have something that I can just put the chain through and it would hang loose (hopefully that makes sense - I've seen the diamond ring but it was in silver)  This website:  http://pubcan.fifthavenuecollection.com/shopping/Gallery/Gallery.asp?Gallery=Neckpieces&Page=11&Product=2124 gives an example of the sandal.

An amigurumi teddy bear (really small), penguin or pig (small)

I just wanted to say that I'm not planning to run the next round of this swap - I've done the last 3 - so if anyone wants to take over, feel free!

I don't know which was harder - making my top 5 list or figuring out who gets which of my bags.  As I told the 5 ladies I'm sending to, the bags I thought would be the most popular weren't and the bags I thought would be the least popular, made the top of most lists!  Hopefully no one will be disappointed with what they get.
