1  Deep Sea Dance in Quilting: Completed Projects by 615bride on: June 05, 2011 05:37:51 PM
I made this baby quilt for my college roommate who just had a baby boy. The Mendocino seahorse and octopi fabric was so much fun. I love the colors and everything about it. There was no pattern. I just did an off-center strip of disappearing nine-patch. I love my new tags too! Thanks for looking!

Everyone's spinning is beautiful, yet again! I love the coils in that art yarn - great pops of color!

Here's the merino I spun last week:

I've never posted to this thread but I've drooled over it a lot. Can I play?

Here's 4oz of BFL I spun:

6  Can you stand another "My First Quilt" thread? in Quilting: Completed Projects by 615bride on: February 10, 2008 04:59:38 AM
Because here's mine!

I bought the fabric already cut on etsy. I wanted to be able to focus on the sewing for my first one. It's for a friend's new baby due in May!

Details are on my blog in my signature!

10  Re: NEWBIES ONLY SWAP ROUND 6 GALLERY in The Swap Gallery by 615bride on: September 19, 2007 06:46:27 PM
Okay, here we go! Renee spoiled me big time. Today wasn't the best days as I had to frog a sweater (Zephyr Knits Juliet) because I got more than halfway done before deciding it was too big. Grrrr. But then, my day turned around when Renee's box arrived!

Such a cute little note with each item and they're all so great!

Handmade paper (I love all things paper!) Some are imprinted with dragonflies!

A great picture frame (I have so many pics of my son that could go in here!

A starting off quilt kit because I really want to learn!

A Halloween witch for my door! I LOVE Halloween. DS grabbed this right away and was saying "Purple Hair!"

A bag for my knitting with a cute pouch to go with it! So much better than the crappy tote I'm using for yarn right now!

I also got a set of cute little Christmas ornaments but DS grabbed them and lined them all up on his train table. He's asleep right now so I can't get a picture!

THANK YOU RENEE! This was so much fun. A great first swapping experience!
