161  Re: Inchies - it's a new year! Sendouts Feb. 16 in The Swap Gallery by SonjaBoo on: April 07, 2010 06:12:09 PM
alwaysinmyroom, I adore that painting! You are so creative!

Okay, so I have been very bad about posting my pictures.  To all of my partners, I apologize -- it is not because they are not well loved! It's because I have just been a scatterbrained ninny!  Tongue

So here are the inchies I received, and my picture quality is horrible.  Another reason to apologize!

Awesome cards everyone!  Cheesy  I have to apologize for not popping into the gallery sooner than this -- my husband recently had surgery and things have just been very hectic.  I am catching up now though on my picture taking!  And I am so sorry to those who have sent me such wonderful cards and are not seeing your work in here until now.  I really and truly love all these ATCs!

First off, from gossamer_gull -- typewriter/writing ATCs! I LOVE these so much!  And she sent two instead of just one.  I was seriously spoiled. Cheesy

Next, from Krafty_Karasu -- my clothesline theme!  How sweet is this?  This is almost exactly what I was envisioning for a clothesline ATC too.  *ATC psychic connection*

From bethiej78, a veggie with human features!  Cheesy  I love him so much -- and I am a huge fan of Sublime Stitching.

From kartiana, a nice hot cup of coffee!  Made with real coffee -- it looks great and smells even better! Grin

And finally, from blupaisan, an amazing altered playing card! The details on this card are incredible!

Thank you ladies so much for these incredible cards -- I love them all to smithereens! Grin

Sorry to do two posts -- my computer just started freaking out!  So here is my package posting, Part 2.  Cheesy

Presenting my goodies from Dragonflywer!!!  Let me preface this by saying I received a box, and within that box were three envelopes full of stuff -- yes, you heard me.  Three.  *Swoon*

Incredible papers:

Text, dictionary pages, sari threads, scissors:

More awesome papers:

So many fun things here! Papers, stickers, buttons, flowers, a ladybug, and right next to that is an adorable vial that I love to pieces!  My camera wasn't working great, but hopefully you can see this:

More of the camera not working great -- but this was an envelope filled with tiny origami stars!  I love this!!!

I think that this is everything -- there was so much I am delightfully overwhelmed!  Thank you so much! I love it all.  Cheesy

*edited to add*
Here is a pic of the inspector general making sure that everything was okay with the packages and that I know how to use it all.  Here she is demonstrating that a Cheez It-like button can double perfectly as a chin scratcher. Cheesy

omg--I see a Girl Scount badge in your package dragonflyer!!! What are those plastic colored disks in the third picture?

I never thought of using my label maker to make words for Altered works!

There are actually two girl scout badges! I'm not sure what the little plastic disks are from, but Sonjaboo sent me a lot of game pieces and stuff, so I figure they came from a game. I actually have plans for those already!
And I loved the labels- I would have never thought of that either!
Dragonflywer - that is the most colourful swap package I have ever seen!! I just want to keep staring at all the pretty colours  Tongue

Haha- me too! And there are just so many different things to play with!

I'm loving all the packages though- I want to pake a giant paper pile with them all and just PLAY!!!

I am soooo glad that you liked your package!  The girl scout badges are some vintage ones that I scored at a yard sale this summer.  The plastic disks are for Bingo -- they used to use those instead of the ink dobbers.  (My grandmother used to have a huge bag of them that she'd take to Bingo -- I loved them!)

And I agree, there are some amazing goodies in this gallery so far! Cheesy I love seeing what everyone else likes to use/has in their stash.

Now speaking of amazing packages, I finally have pictures of both of the incredible packages that I received!

First, my package from PinkPug,INK.:
Some awesome papers, including a sheet of something I think is braille?  Is that right?  It's awesome!

Super fun doo-dads, including some excellent stickers that really crack me up! (Particularly "A cubicle is just a padded cell without a door."  Ha!)

Some awesome cards, my favorite being the black cat one of course:  Cheesy

And more fun papers, heart doilies (plans for these already), and whimsies:

Thank you so much! I love everything!!! Cheesy

165  Re: Sweet and Easy Valentine's Day Swap GALLERY, SEND OUT 2/06/2010 in The Swap Gallery by SonjaBoo on: February 08, 2010 07:10:28 PM
Awesome goodies!  Those marshmallows look delish! Cheesy

I received from the amazing carrieme the other day -- and am just now getting my poor pictures up.  They really do not do the package justice at all, but disregard my photography and feast your eyes on the loot! Cheesy

An overall shot of everything!

A close-up of the beautiful valentine bag!

Potholders that I LOVE, displaying sweet cupcake earrings and a valentine key fob:

Valentines that I can share with others! So so so sweet!  Cheesy  (Also shown is the adorable owl valentine that carrieme made for moi!)

And some delicious treats that *munch munch* carrieme sent along, though *munch munch* there may have been more here *munch* originally *munch munch*:

Thank you so much carrieme!  This package absolutely made my day and couldn't have come at a better time during a very long week. Cheesy  I hope you enjoy your package too! Happy Valentine's Day! Cheesy

Ooh, great stuff!  I love the garland and the wreath!  Cheesy

And finally... *drumroll please*... I have pictures of the gorgeous package A2K sent to me!  I finally found the cord to my camera -- it was right where Mr. SonjaBoo put it.  Hmm.

To begin with, my favorite new Christmas decoration -- a runner for our cedar chest that is in our hallway!  I love this to pieces!

Next up, some great towels for our kitchen -- the colors go perfectly with our decor! Cheesy
One on the fridge:

One on our kitchen stand organizer thingy:

And a final shot of additional goodies!  Here we have some adorable ornaments, potholders made from vintage fabrics (crazy about these too), and BEST of all, SOCKS!!!  I have swapped with A2K in the past, and take it from me ladies -- her socks are to die for!

Thank you so much for such a wonderful swap -- and thank you for not hating me for taking so long to get pictures up!  Merry Christmas A2K! Cheesy

Okay, the PH card needs to go into the ATC hall of fame, because that is just awe -- wait for it -- some.  LOL!

The cherry blossom card is just beautiful!  It's so delicate!  And alwaysinmyroom, I just love all your ATCs.  I am so glad you have joined this swap!  Cheesy

First off, I have to apologize -- I have been horrible at posting pics this week.  I received some gorgeous cards and my tardiness is in no way a reflection of how much I enjoy these.  (Because frankly, they all made a dreary week about a thousand times better!)

I will start with the happiest cupcake in the world, sent by the talented TerraBella01 -- how can you not be happy with a cupcake like this? Seriously!

Next up is a gorgeous vintage cooking ATC by the aforementioned alwaysinmyroom -- who is evidently always in her room making amazing ATCs!
The front:

And open (this features a family recipe that always shared -- I love this card so much!)

And finally, this may be one of my all time favorites.  Ladies, you've been waiting for it -- feast your eyes on the Elvis ATC from Oyhana!

He even has an extra little jumpsuit!  LOL!  And you can't tell from my scan, but this is a totally 3-D card.  Elvis is raised up, as are the faces of the two screaming ladies who are obviously waiting for the best opportunity to throw their underwear at him.

Thank you ladies so much!  This really is the best swap ever. Cheesy

I'm so sorry your veggie card got wet! Our mailbox tends to get things soggy too.   Undecided

I absolutely love that squid card -- that's too funny!  And that "evil" card is really creepy -- very nice!

I finally have pics of the amazing cards I received from noooitaremybirthday and schnerby.  I am so sorry to take so long to post these ladies -- we have had a bad week, and my slowness is no reflection of how much I love these cards!  Because I seriously love them!  Grin

First, an amazing poppies card from noo -- this is so beautiful!  Cheesy The outline on the poppy is metallic.  (I'm not sure if you can really tell that in my amazing scanning abilities here.)

And this guy from schnerby is just hilarious --I have this weird obsession with fruits and veggies that have human characteristics.  (Did anyone ever read the Munch Bunch books when they were little?  I loved them and I think all of this stems from that.)  Anyway, meet Master Eggplant!

Thank you so much ladies!  I love them so much!

Ha!  I love that it arrived on the same day as the OB sample -- that is too funny!  That is a good envelope though! Smiley

I also received from macnatalie!  She chose my poppies theme -- this is so pretty! I believe it is watercolors -- I really love it!

And I also received from gossamer_gull --she chose my writing and candy themes.  (And made me two fabulous candy ATCs!)

Here is a horrible scan of the awesome writing card -- it's a metal waste paper basket with numerous rough drafts filling it!  As a writer, I whole heartedly appreciate that.  Cheesy  And the text says, "It was a dark and stormy night..."  Love it!  I will try to get a better pic, but here is an idea of what it looks like:

Thank you so much ladies!  These are incredible additions to my collection!  Grin

I apologize to everyone for being slow on my picture posting and sending -- I've had the flu since Friday and am just now starting to get back on my feet!  Your cards will all be going out as soon as possible!

As for photos -- here is the amazing fortune cookie ATC that I received from prettyinpaisley:

And opened!

And another amazing ATC -- this one is the Leo sign from happiehina:

And opened! (I love these cards that move! She also included my horoscope. Cheesy)

Thank you both so much -- these are just gorgeous!  They have made an unhealthy Craftster very happy.   Cheesy
