1  afghan edging in Crochet: Discussion and Questions by shes crafty on: April 15, 2004 10:41:05 PM
Okay, I'm very close to being done with my first afghan.  A few questions for the expert crocheters out there.  My edges are not even--a few stitches off here and there--but I've gone so far I don't want to turn back.  How do I edge the afghan to make it look neat?  And the corners?  My crochet book does not explain it well enough.

2  cocktail stirrers in Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions by shes crafty on: April 15, 2004 10:13:47 PM
Once again, I have a great vintage item and need help.  I bought these coctail stirrers years ago and from frequent use Grin one of the clear plastic dowels broke off at the edge of the die.  I think I can drill out the remains of the plastic but want to find a replacement plastic dowel to glue in and complete the set.  I have had no luck so far.  The dowels are 1/8th of an inch thick.  Any ideas???

3  old formica table in Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions by shes crafty on: April 15, 2004 10:03:43 PM
This is a great old table that I would like to complete with a metal trim, like the 50s-ish formica tables.  Does anyone know where to get the metal?
