I had one of those days myself not too long ago...

Though the best item in there was a 1965 book of patterns. Totally mod!

What do you get when you combine a plain wooden jewelry box and a comic book someone (oh no!) spilled soda on?

Just an easy decoupage. Here's the "seam" where the box opens:

4  Quick bobble scarf in Knitting: Completed Projects by pcockey on: December 29, 2005 12:18:21 PM
I had fun making this one. I used Red Heart Light & Lofty super bulky yarn, which gave it a cute poodly look. The entire thing was done with rows of six stitches, making even an eight-foot-long scarf (so it can be wrapped, as displayed by the lovely Tracey, now the owner of the scarf) pretty quick. Plus pom-poms on strings! I'm not a terribly fast knitter, but I popped this out in total under ten hours.
