I just checked out the first one and it looked awesome! I would definately be into joining this swap. The only thing is i'm a "newbie" and my first swap ends on 2/15, so it would have to be after that, but that seems to be the time everyone else wants sign ups for too...
I'm glad you like it! I laid the pics out in a straight line over 2 12x12 pieces of black paper (they are diagonal so I could fit all the pics on the pages.) Then I left about an inch or so on both sides of the rows of pics (for the sprocket holes) drew a line and cut the black excess paper off. I mounted the black paper onto 2 12x12 pieces of blue paper and taped the pics down. Then I cut a bunch of little squares out of the same blue background color and placed them like sprocket holes on either sides of the pics! I think it's pretty funny! The longest part of the process for me was trying to figure out how to lay out the pics to get them all on the page. If you have any other questions let me know!
I went to a beautiful wedding at the Harding Allen Estate in Barre, MA in Sept and another friend is getting married there this Sept! There were beautiful gardens, and they had an outdoor ceremony, then the reception was under a gorgeous tent. They hired a shuttle to bring people to stay over night in Worcester, about 20 mins away.
This is a great idea! I did something similar when my best friend was in Iraq, but it was a pre-made tweenager one from a little gift shop. It's so fun to read over and over, like a high school yearbook or something! I can't wait to start this one!
