11  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / knee length pleated skirt on: July 12, 2004 09:36:01 AM
I'm really proud of this one. I made the pattern by myself, with no other help then my sewing book, from my measurement. It a knee length pleated skirt that closes with a zipper on the side and some ties. The top panel is doubled and has some lining so it would be sturdier and not so transparent. It's made out of a light cotton I got at Fabricville (I think it's actually called fabricland everywhere else)

12  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / skirt I made on: June 27, 2004 07:35:33 AM
I made this skirt from a burda pattern. It's a simple a-linish skirt with a pointed bottom. It closes with an invisible zipper on the side.

and this is the shape of it:
13  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / bikini on getCrafty on: April 19, 2004 08:13:15 PM
I saw this awesome bikini pattern on getCrafty.com the other day and when I came back to print it out today, the site is gone Cry.
Would anyone per chance have a copy of that awesome knitted bikini pattern (it was black with embroidered flower).
14  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / I want to spice it up on: April 04, 2004 08:58:37 PM
I want to make this pattern: http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEfall03/PATTponcho.html (isn't it sweet!!), but I wanted to spice it up a bit and the only idea I got was cables... anyone has a better idea? Cheesy
15  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / my try at a corset on: March 16, 2004 07:05:04 PM
So I tried my hand at coreseting and I thing I got decent results. I used the civil war pattern from simplicity wich I made longer and I had to make considerably smaller at the bust since I'm so small-chested.
It has a front busk and back lacing.
It's made out of linen that I got at 75% off.
The corset supplies I got off a canadian-based online shop for aproximately 30$ CAD. And the eyelets I got for free from my aunt (but they will need superglue because 2 are falling off).

16  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / little bag I made on: March 11, 2004 07:00:47 AM
I made this bag over the last couple of days. The outside is made out of linen (left overs from a corset I made) and the inside out of flannel (left overs from pjs).
17  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / yarn with a stretch on: March 02, 2004 01:40:15 PM
I'm hopping to knit a bikini but I can't seem to find yarn that has stretch to it (ie with lycra). Is there any place online where I could find it?  Huh
