6  CLOTHING / Sewing Pattern Reviews / McCall's Costume M4622 Fairy, Bopeep on: November 04, 2005 02:49:02 PM
This pattern is soooo versitle- I used the fairy design to make a fire fairy costume, and what was wonderful was that the skirt was full enough that I was able to put tons of netting under it and poof it out.  So easy to follow, yet such cute results!  I skipped the lining part and just wore a leotard under mine.  And as you can see, I wore a red corsette over the bodice.

Do you know what gauge your wire is?

The wire is 9 gauge!  And if anyone makes some, I'd love to see them!!!  These are what I plan on making next for the Labyrinth of Jareth Masquerade 2006-

I'm going to be an ice/winter or moon/star fairy (haven't decided which one) Cheesy

Cheesy Thanks guys!  Yes, people guessed who I was.  A lot of drunk girls hugged me... anyway ha!  Thanks for the compliments, I painted that car myself this last summer with SPRAYPAINT (my pointer finger was numb for 2 days!!!) AND I got a 3rd degree sunburn because I'm an idiot and didn't wear sunscreen in Southern California in the middle of the afternoon.  Hahaha.  But the outcome was worth it, baby!  Only bad thing is I have to be careful to drive VERY WELL because if I piss someone off onthe road, they will easily find me again.  Hehhe.  Good side- only an idiot would steal my car because it would be tracked down in .5 seconds.
