"I know my quilting lines aren't perfect, but that's what makes it homemade."

FACT: Any completed quilt is a perfect quilt!

24  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Re: Name Sign for friend's Mom on: October 30, 2009 07:05:44 AM
That is the sweetest idea!  I love it!  It will help her find her own room as well, as her memory declines.  A very thoughtful gift.

26  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Self-portrait with doll (version 1) on: October 19, 2009 03:52:06 PM
Beautiful!  You have set up the muted color palette so well.
27  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Super Mario Piranha Plant Scarf **PATTERN ADDED!** on: October 11, 2009 09:53:44 AM
What fun!  Bookmarked for future use! Smiley  2 quick questions:
1) Is that an SC border around the pipe?
2) How wide did you make the pipe? (i.e. how many rows...I can see that you did it vertically instead of horizontally, but I can't tell how many rows you did)
28  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Meet Harrison on: October 11, 2009 09:47:55 AM
Harrison is friggin adorable.  Let's see, feedback...if I had to change something, I might move the legs a smidge more towards the front, but that is more personal preference than anything else.  I like his felt eyes and the cheeks that others have mentioned; the details really make the piece!  And the top hat, of course.  Wink
29  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Chocobo is FINALLY Finished ! on: October 11, 2009 09:41:30 AM
That is some wicked-awesome shaping you pulled off there!  Very nicely done.  I tried to freehand Dogmatix from the Asterix and Obelix comics and I couldn't get the shaping right, so I am jealous! Wink
