1  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Argh, scallywag! on: November 03, 2005 02:38:08 PM

Get it??

The paint was still wet when I took the picture, so it looks a bit off in a way.  But yeah, this is what happens when you're thinking before sleep.
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Ear flaps! on: October 19, 2005 12:01:56 PM
I had almost forgotten about how much fun it is to have an ear flap hat!

3  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Selling Crafts on Etsy.com / Celebrate your etsy milestones! (First sale, your stuff on the main page, etc!) on: October 19, 2005 07:36:35 AM
I was excited this morning that I've gotten my first sale on etsy after only a week of setting up.  So far, this site has been my FAVORITE!!  The fees, once they're in set, are still insanely low!  It's just... yeah, I looooove it!  And working with it!  And looking at other sellers on it!!  Sorry, I'm just overly excited. Smiley
4  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Gorgeous George and more! on: October 15, 2005 08:45:54 AM
My boyfriend's  been super excited about learning how to stencil.  He's pretty good at actually designing things, so we sat down and made a few things!

And now, a few that I've done by myself:

I know I messed up the quote on the last one... but still.  I love 'em.

5  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Checkered hat. on: October 14, 2005 04:46:48 PM
So today I decided to experiment a bit... and I came up with this:

I think I'm going to try making a belt next, I'm not sure.  But whoo is it fun!
6  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Jack-o-lantern hat. on: October 08, 2005 11:29:29 AM

I'm contemplating whether or not I just want to keep this for myself.
7  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Checkered scarves. on: October 06, 2005 04:59:25 PM
I make checkered scarves like this:

And I'm selling them so that I can try to buy this:

AND I have a question...
I've sold one so far on ebay with good luck, and I'm looking into some craft fairs and such.  I was wondering what you guys thought would be a good price?  I'm not good at pricing things, that's why I love ebay, people pay what they're willing to pay.  Heeelp!
8  Illinois / Illinois: North / New. on: October 06, 2005 04:16:03 PM
I'm new to the area, and to craftster.org.  I do a lot of crocheting, making hats and scarves, and I was wondering what, if anything, is going on in the area as far as craft fairs.  I've tried looking around online with little to no luck.  I'm in the Bolingbrook/Naperville area.  Thanks in advance!
