I was lucky enough to be one of the test knitters for Anushka's Swing Cardigan pattern.

I had flu in both of these pictures, ignore the weird look on my face.

Here is the product of my efforts~

Swing Cardigan

I had made my first sleeve, I was very happy.

3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Baby Hoody on: July 09, 2006 04:38:02 PM
I'm a total sucker for baby clothes and all things tiny so when my friend gave birth last week, I just *had* to try out this Debbie Bliss pattern (Simply Knitting, issue 1 or Debbie Bliss Baby Knits) for a baby hoody!

Hoody pre-finishing and post-getting-stressed-about-where-the-hood-goes.

Hoody with crochet edging.

I plan on adding some embroidered flowers to the front and a little button for the neck.. maybe.  The baby is currently too small for preemie clothes so this 6-9 month size hoody will come in useful for next christmas I think!  Smiley

It said on the pattern notes "don't stress, the hood is easy!".. it lies.. I figured it out in the end but this pattern isn't for the total beginner like it says it is!  Cheesy
4  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Felt Kitty on: May 30, 2006 04:52:28 PM
I've been on a roll since making the felt turtle and have started venturing into the world of felt plushies and handsewn items!  Smiley

This was a self-designed pattern, but not much thought went into it I can assure you!   Cheesy

5  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Felt Turtle on: May 30, 2006 04:49:54 PM
I'd started knitting a turtle and got totally bored with it so spured on by the "penguin pin cushion" which GingaNic made me, I sewed a felt turtle!

Felt Turtle

The pattern was a free one which can be found by putting "free turtle" into the search box and the shell was made by me drawing around a cd.  Smiley

I made a mini keying version too but I still need to add the shell..[/b]
6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Two first necklaces on: May 21, 2006 07:52:17 AM
I bought some "just add beads" necklace kits for like 80p each and each one contains enough for 2 necklaces with instructions.  So here are my efforts..
Second necklace.

8  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Penguin Pin Cushion on: April 05, 2006 11:08:30 AM
I'm not sure where this would fit.. but I got this little guy today as a belated birthday present.

He wasn't made by me!

My friend GingaNic (username on craftster) made him!  Isn't he wonderful?

9  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Frankenbear on: March 24, 2006 03:32:03 AM
I made him from a pattern in one of my mum's old magazines..

Taken just after I'd sewn him together.

Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil.

10  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Adapted Stripes [and Stripes] forever scarf on: March 08, 2006 05:34:56 PM
I'm in the UK so we have no access to the yarn used for the patterns (much) so I made up the scarf using my own substituted mix of yarns instead.

I love this book!  I've had it on pre-order as a birthday present for AGES!  The instructions are clear and the projects look really cool.. I just wish I could get the hang of using only 1 needle!   Cheesy
