I say, whatever.  In Middle School, I took Home Ec because I was "supposed to", but my finger got caught in the sewing machine needle (the machine wasn't moving thankfully) and that generally stopped me from continuing sewing.  The next year I took Industrial Arts and had a great time.

My main craft is cross stitch (yeah, some teddy bears, but I love blackwork), and I have no qualms about calling myself a feminist.  I may not be as strident in my views as my mom and her conciousness-raising group back in the 70s, I definitely have pretty much the same views (I'm married).  My Master's thesis was about how business magazine communicate (or don't) to women.

It's what I like to do...I don't care.

This is beautiful.  It reminds me of an EKG machine readout but much prettier.  That's a cool idea. Hmmmmm...
