So I got a blender for xmas ( ok, I bought it for myself ;0 ) and the box sure came in handy!
Also got a chance to use up the great swatches I got..

Perfect for making a much needed storage box for hats, gloves, scarves that I hoard Grin
A lady needs something for every occasion, after all !

has a satin lining too!
(animal activists take note- that's vintage recycled fur there!)

Wow- so each one is a hand-drawn piece of your own art, or ? !
If so- you are super-duper talented and I hope you're charging for them as such Cheesy

Would you be able to share how you got such detail with the black one ?
I assume you use the bleach pen-if so, where did you get one with such a small nib??

This is too funny-talk about universal mind stuff- there's a heated debate on another board I'm on about this type of hat and whether or not they are appropriate on males, as they tend to look better on gals.

I think you this case it actually suits him- I shall have too look up that book you mention as well (what a great gift to get!)

10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Warm patchwork skirt on: January 03, 2008 10:25:13 AM
awesome- I'm not the only one that likes quilted skirts-but to use actual quilt pieces- now that's a great idea!

(Winter skirts are much like mittens in that they will keep you warmer Wink )

What fabric did you use for the outside, please?
