3  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Fair Foods on: May 06, 2008 12:01:55 PM
Ohh, thanks mswood! I'm going to give it a try at home. Any fair food I've had since then has been "chasing the dream" Cheesy, so maybe I'll have some luck on my own.
4  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Fair Foods on: May 05, 2008 05:24:47 PM
My husband and I bought a little basket of fried veggies at a festival about five years ago. I'm a sucker for fair food as it is, but these were AMAZING. It was a big piece of broccoli, cauliflower, a wedge of green tomato ( I think) a pickle (which was the only thing my husband liked) a huge mushroom and an onion ring. No fair food has lived up to it since then. Does anyone have a recipe for the batter they use to fry all those fair goodies?

8  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Real Bone Squirrel "Doll" on: April 06, 2007 10:55:22 PM
It'd be creepier/cooler if you could pose him in a stereotypical squirrel pose... like eating a nut, or something. \

I wanna see him in a winged chair, reading poetry and smoking a pipe.

This is too great for words. I love it.
