Nice job.  I tend to like skirts without waistbands.

I think it looks great as it is.  I'm impressed you created your own pattern.  As many years as I've been sewing, I should be able to, but I've never tried.  WTG!
533  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: TWO useless pianos on: August 11, 2006 01:51:45 PM
I do wish I could remember on what show I saw this, but they gutted an old upright piano and made a home bar/liquor cabinet out of it.  They removed the front and all the keys and strings.  Inside they put mirrors in the back and glass shelves.  It seems as if they attached the front on hinges underneath the keys to make a sort of drop leaf table.  It was very cool.

You could laminate 2 or 3 together side by side and make bookmarks.

Very clever.

laviederachelle, is that your puppy in the the avatar?  I have a Westie.  His name is Max, but we call him "The Beast."  If you have a Westie, I'm sure you understand why.  LOL!

Great bags.  The embroidery really makes them unique.

Have you ever seen teacup bird feeders?  Here is an example of one:

This example calls for copper tubing, but I don't know why what you have wouldn't be acceptable.

You could hang it horizontally and use it as overhead storage.

You could also put it under your bed as storage, but it's so cute that it seems a shame to hide it.

Paper it with road maps and post cards from places you have visited or would like to visit.
