, thanks for sharing your creation. Truly great minds must think alike. (And it's a little freaky, too.) I am certainly not trying to take away from your beautiful creation, but this was so coincidental and bizarre that I had to share.
I have never been able to master knitting, and I prefer the knitted look of a calorimetry/headband/earwarmer. Wanting to make one for my teenage daughter and after unsuccessfully searching online for a pattern, I decided to create my own this past weekend.
The premise of my pattern is exactly the same, but I used a larger hook (therefore fewer beginning chains and number of rows), and I decreased a bit differently (one at a time versus two). Other than that, there isn't much difference.
If any of you tries this pattern, I emphasize the blocking step. My sample wanted to curl inward until it was steamed flat.
