11  Record Curtain! in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by kraphtee87 on: February 13, 2006 08:14:16 PM
I'm sure tons of people have posted these, but I'm very proud of mine, so I wanted to post mine too!  I loooooove it.  It's covering the doorway of a room that leads off of mine that doesn't have a door.  It's very annoying.  But pretty soon that room is going to be my crafting room, so I thought it needed something crafted over the doorway.

12  About a bazillion earrings! (very image heavy!) in Beads: Completed Projects by kraphtee87 on: February 03, 2006 08:08:52 PM
I've had TONS of beads for a loooooong time and I never really knew what to do with them.  But, thanks to a recent extreme crafty kick (ever had one of those? haha), I bought some things to make earrings, and made TONS of them.  I still have more to make.  I want to start selling some things.  I don't really know if anyone would buy these.  I just started making them, so some of them are a little crooked.  Embarrassed Roll Eyes  Thanks in advance for any comments!  Smiley  I appologize profusely for the blurry pictures.

15  Pink and Green Felt Clutch in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by kraphtee87 on: February 02, 2006 02:33:38 PM
Well I've been browsing around here for a long time, I've only posted one project ever.  I've seen all the cool felt projects you've all been doing, so I decided to pick up some felt today and see what I could throw together.  I don't think it's all that great, though I am happy with the way it turned out since it's my first ever clutch.  Thanks in advance for all your comments!  Kiss Grin

16  My version of the woven mag purse... Now with messenger bag pics!!!! (IMG heavy) in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by kraphtee87 on: August 14, 2005 01:20:50 PM
This was way fun!  Lemme know what you think of it!!  I had this huge bead catalog laying around and there was no use for it.  I saw the post about the woven magazine purse, so I decided to use it for that.  It's the first time I ever made a purse out of anything. Embarrassed

This is the front of it:

This is a top view of it:

This is kind of a side view of it:

Thanks a lot for any feedback!! Grin Smiley

I guess I have tons of extra time on my hands because I have completed my woven magazine messenger bag!!!!  I think it's awesome.  It's also made out of the bead catalog pages.  Lemme know what you think of it!:)

This is the front of it... it has a flap that hangs down the front (obviously since it's a messenger bag but I wasn't sure if you could see it or not):

This is the back... I tried to do kind of a black and white checkered type feel with the background of the pages.. I don't know if you can tell.. It's sort of hard to catch:

This is a side view.. I don't really know why it's necessary. Tongue  Just to show how wide it is, I guess:

This is it opened up:

And this is the handle up close:

Thanks in advance for any feedback!  You guys are awesome! Grin Wink

And yes I did get the jist of this magazine weaving stuff from craftin_pretty's tutorial which you can find here: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=45643.0
I modified it a bit but I give many thanks to her for showing me how to weave magazine pages!  THANK YOU SOO MUCH!!
