I'm very curious how you did this, but I respect your not saying... Here's my question, and if answered correctly, I'll figure it out for myself. If you've seen a British two pound coin, it has a lot of funky design around the outside edge that I'd like to leave intact as much as possibly. But I have to make it about half the size that it is now in order for it to fit my finger... any idea of if it would work?
ive never seen one, but i assume you mean one of these?http://www1.istockphoto.com/file_thumbview_approve/1042800/2/istockphoto_1042800_british_two_pound_coin_back.jpg
and you just want the outer yellow circle? if thats already too big you won't be able to shrink it (as far as I know anyway)
however, the british two pound diameter is 28.4mm...while the US quarter is 24.3mm and the US half dollar is 30.6mm. both the US quarter and 1/2 dollar can be made into the normal range of coin rings...so, you should be able to make a ring out of it...(just maybe not only the yellow outer part)
