I'm arachnophobic but I really love the jsk. I can't wait to see the other pictures! Do you have a closeup on the fabric?

I love it! You two both look great, I love the spider fabric, and the cuffs look great with the rest of the outfit. Where did you find the spider fabric?

I bought it from last year's Halloween collection at JoAnn's.  Its been sitting in a box for quite some time.

The dress is beautiful!!!!

About the fabric, do the spiders have a lace-like design on them?? If so then I have the same fabric!

P.S. You guys are my heros! I don't often see plus-sized lolitas with such amazing sensees of style, you two are delightful! Cheesy
Yes, it does have lace designs!
You have no idea how happy that comment makes me.

This dress I've had made for a while, but I just recently revamped it for a meetup I did with some other friends.  I'm so in love with this fabric its not even funny.

Posing with the lovely Gabriel (who is borrowing my lovely Purple Polkadot Jumperskirt):

A decent shot of how it looks from the back.

You can't see them very well, but I also made the wristcuffs and rings that go with it.  I'll post close ups of those later.  The wristcuffs were really simple.  Hobby lobby has elasticized black lace that I cut to fit my wrists and I tied a pretty ribbon with it, but I think it completed my outfit.

1. Good interfacing.
2. Fold them accordian style and the final top and bottom fold on the outside goes towards you. (I hope that makes sense).

OMG this is GORGEOUS! May I ask, do you have a tutorial?? I'd be eternally grateful

Unfortunately, since I intend to sell these dresses, I am unable to make a tutorial. Sad

oh it looks great and just like the original.

i'm thinking about making a dress with a similar skirt-part, would you tell me how the pattern-piece looked like?
if you don't mind me asking.
is it just a long rectangle with 2 very round edges?

I made this for a girl on livejournal.  She chose the fabric to match a hat that she bought.

Based on this dress:

It's very pretty.  Pity about your dress form though...  Do you think we could get a picture of the dress if/when she tries it on?  And maybe a closeup of the fabric detail?  I love the extra bit around the top of the bodice too.

Yes, of course.  She has yet to receive it though, so it may be a few days.

My friend gave me the idea to make these hats for the Widdle Monster concerts.  Widdle Monsters are this totally awesome local Chicago band that dress up in furry suits!

There's more coming soon, but I haven't gotten the chance to finish them yet.

I made this purse to sell, but no one wants it so I think I'm going to keep it for myself.
