I love the painting, it's great!

I too recieved some goodies, I got my knit cactus from miss Bobolink!  I love him soooo much he is exactly how I imagined.  Thank you once again for a great knit goody Smiley Here are a couple different angles, he wanted to show off for the camera.  Now he's sitting in my kitchen, where he'll live forever  Smiley, unlike my other plants Sad

She also included a bunch of stitchmarkers!  I needed some pretty stitchmarkers, since all I had were those ugly plastic ring type ones.  She took note that I loved the ones she made for others and included these pretties--

Thank you bobolink! I am so lucky, I got two wishes in one!

I got my package from akredhead, it included:

Magnets with SATC quotes on it, 2 necklaces (Did you make the one with the colored beads?  I need to work on getting it untangled but it looks really cute!), a little wallet, some nail files

and a painted box with a frame in the top, she put in a quote from Smith (he's such a cutie)!

Thank you akredhead!

I got such an awesome stencilled long sleeve t-shirt from Radal16 yesterday!  It's green (like, one of my most favorite colors) with hummingbirds (one of my fave animals)

I will try to get a better pic of it on, once I get a chance, I love it so much Smiley

She also included the stencils too (she was afraid I wouldn't like my shirt, crazy lady)!  I think I am going to make my daughter a matching hummingbird shirt... I've never stencilled but have always wanted to, so now that I have all the stencils to work with, I have no excuse not to!

Thank you so much Radal16!  Grin

48  My first real FOs! Felted Marsupial Bag, Casey's Coat Dog Sweater, Lil Devil Hat in Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller by aschnebly on: February 21, 2006 04:59:00 PM
I love knitting!  I just love everything about it so far.  I can sit on the couch and knit and veg out to TV.  Here are my first "real" things.

First I made the Lil Devil Baby hat from www.kittyville.com for my Daughter, I left off the earflaps and tails.

Then I made the Felted Marsupial Tote.  I used Paton's Classic wool merino.  Yum, brown and turquoise!  I didn't make the little pouch, I haven't decided if I would really have a use for it yet.

With the leftovers from the bag, I made my sweet chihuahua rufus Casey's Coat, the doggie sweater from SnB Nation.

Yay, I am a knitter! Smiley

I recieved my fabulous package from cyndiq!  Here are all my aussie goods Smiley

An aus-some calendar, with gorgeous pictures.  I really needed one I didn't have a new one for this year yet!  An InStyle Magazine that I am loving looking at, and a craft magazine that came with bonus extra booklets on hat decorating and dinner recipes.

Some sweet prints, I love the koala holiday fabric, I can't wait to make Cam something out of these!

Vegemite, natural gummibears, anzac buscuit, chocolate tea-latte packet (YUM), zippered pouch with beaded pull, tote with kangaroo scene in silver print, beverage sleeve, earrings, and my personal favorite, Emu Oil cream!  It works so well, and my skin gets very dry here.

Souvenier T-shirt for my daughter, and a tee with koalas drinking Fosters and Dos Equis beers it looks like Smiley So cute!

Kookaburra keychain, koala stuffie made from kangaroo skin, real life boomerang, boomerang magnet, platypus crossing keychain, boxing kangaroo pen (hilarious and fun to play with!)

I think I got it all in there, I am sorry the pics resized so small Sad

Thank you thank you thank you Cyndiq!  I feel like I've taken a trip to Australia without even going... actually I am wanting to go there even more now!

I got my stuff last night!  Yay!  Thanks so much aschnebly!  I haven't taken pictures yet, but if you have 'em, you can post 'em.
I got:
the prettiest knitting needle roll, in green circley fabric and deep dark raddichio-looking purple corduroy
a notebook covered in the green fabric
She made knitting needles with cupcake toppers!
donut and cake slice stitch markers (I didn't have ANY stitch markers before this, so thanks!)
and a Martha food magazine/book with lots of yummy salads in it.
 Grin Grin

I totally missed your post saying you got the stuff, I am so glad it got there, I was just about to PM you about it right now and saw this post--

Here is what I sent mllejessy, she said she liked fancy salads the most, and I saw she was a knitter so I went off that.  My package is nothing compared to what Jessy sent me though, she made the best stuff ever!

The fabric is the deep purple in all those nice salads, plus a green patterned cotton, that kinda looks like peas--I dunno, it was a stretch, but I was having a hard time putting my salady thoughts into fruition.  I ran across the MS mag with lots of salad recipes so I had to pick that up for her.

I made a pair of knitting needles, which were fun to make and the stitch markers, like she said!  Donuts and little cakes.  I'm glad you like your goodies!

Thank you again for the great things you sent me, they really were fantastic!
