11  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / AUSTRALIA / Craft Events In Australia on: December 09, 2008 05:45:10 AM

I run/own/started a website called Craftgossip.com we have editors who write about everything crafty including events etc.

I am located in Brisbane and find it hard to source information about great crafty events here is Australia.

If you know of an event I would love it if you could drop me a message or email so I can find out more about it.

16  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Junk Bracelet - Using broken and vintage pieces on: June 21, 2008 05:37:02 AM
I saw these in the store the other day and they were over $80.00 can you believe it....

and then in another store they were on sale for $5 ??  I got some to take apart and to reconstruct.

at $5 its cheaper than the beads.

does anyone else do that? by jewelry to take it apart?
17  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Soap Petals on: June 21, 2008 02:58:08 AM
I have played with these, granted they were spilt soap that I then let set slightly and shaped into petals... but they still looked good. I will try and find the images to show you.

but those molds above look pretty good (the leaves)

how nice would chocolate rose petals be spread all over a wedding table ? mmm chocolate...
