21  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / HELPPPPPPP Jesse's flames SNBN on: August 14, 2005 10:18:51 PM
After reading a discussion on knitting interfering with your relationship w/your significant other, I asked hubby if he was ever bothered by it. then I told him I really wanted to make a sweater for him. He's not the sweater wearing kind of guy, and he said he'd wear Jesse's flames.

Not completely a newbie in knitting or fair Isle type stuff, I have run into a wall with this one. On the sleeves, the beginning of the flame ends up w/a gap between the MC and the CC (black n red) so where the flames start is almost knit separately . I guess maybe I'm too tired, but for some reason I' stumped.

Do I need to carry the MC (black) along the back of it somehow?

22  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Sweater from Shark Boy and Lava Girl on: August 11, 2005 11:51:14 AM
Okay, I have kids, so I've gone to see the movie. Twice... Undecided Well, there is a sweater in there that I have gone to the movie again, just to look at, to see if I can figure it out...yep I'm that sick Grin. Stop me before I go again...lol

Anyway it's Mr. Electricidad's Daughter's (the ice princess) sweater. Her name is Violet I think. It's a hooded cardi but has a different front that is basically a K/P kind of pattern..helllllllllllp before I have to go see it again!!!
