1  Deery Lou embroidered zippered pouch in Needlework: Completed Projects by bluehairedmary on: April 18, 2008 06:18:07 PM
I embroidered the same Deery Lou pouch for a swap on swap-bot. I originally used the embroidered patch design for a crochet hook holder

What do you think?

2  Re: Many Uses For / Incarnations Of Picture Marbles in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by bluehairedmary on: May 27, 2004 08:45:55 PM

I posted this pic in another thread, but it goes here too.  This was my first, and I have many more in the works.  I used E6000 glue - which does give off fumes but is kick-ss strong!  It dries clear and holds through hurricanes.  I used an eyelet as well as a jump ring to thread the silk cord through.  I am trying to figure out how to use crimp beads to make a fancier clasp, but for now I just knot it.

Here's a pic of my first finished marble pendant.  I used some decoupage paper with an asian theme.  I have more that are drying now.
