I received today and I'm quoting this from my own PM to javastain "Your package could not have come at a better time.  I just got home from two different jobs I worked today, I'm sweaty and tired and I see this box of organic milk!  I bet my face was classic, I was smiling and squeeling as I opened it up and saw the awesomeness inside.  TOTALLY worth the wait!!!!  Your ideas were great--- how did you ever think of them?  I actually think I was most surprised by the kickass thermos.  I don't have one at all, and even my boyfriend remarked that he doesn't have one... so of course I was like "nyah, betcha want this one, but TOO BAD!"  I love the little Goo and Mac figurines on the clock and Eduardo's expression on the dsc holder.. priceless!  All of them will be displayed.  Yay, and I get to relax and watch Foster's tonight!  Thank you thank you thank you thank you! Grin Kiss Grin "

So, yeah, she made me a Foster's Clock!  The hour hand is Mac and the minute hand is Goo!  What's crazy is that I had to move my alarm across the room so I can wake up in the morning, but at night when I'm in bed, I can't see across the room because I don't have on my glasses.  I was thinking how it would be nice to have a clock on my nightstand.....  and now I have one!

Eduardo is lookin scary on this cute felt holder that has inside... Foster's episodes on burned DVDs!!!

And the last one I opened...  a "creative memory tumbler" (reinforced travel mug) that has this montage of Foster's pictures as polaroid shots!

Javastain did an AMAZING job.  You rock, javastain!!!!! Kiss

153  Baby Booties in Crochet: Completed Projects by irid3sc3nt on: May 07, 2006 10:50:21 PM
I wanted to follow a pattern, but when I crochet I find that I can just wing it.  I don't know if that's because I started knitting first and crocheting is just round and round with increases and decreases....  um... well that's all I know how to do.  I don't know the awesome crazy lacey patterns yet.

The yarn is Red Heart baby something or other.  I thought it was a non gender-specific color(s).

154  Badges/Buttons/Pinbacks in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by irid3sc3nt on: May 07, 2006 10:42:50 PM
I have a wonderful Badge-A-Minit (that's how they spell it) ButtonMaker-- a 2.25 one.  It's great.  I bought a grip of fronts and backs so I don't think I'll run out anytime soon.  I go back and forth on whether I want a 1 inch one or not.  I think the text-and-image kinds I make wouldn't work on that small of a size.
Yep.  My button-maker is right up there with my Xyron sticker-maker.

Here's a few I've made:

156  Re: Ongoing Stuff I Can Make Round 3 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by irid3sc3nt on: April 07, 2006 11:45:27 AM
I received a decoupaged box from raindrops.  I asked her to tailor it so I can put seeds in it.  It's nice and short so I can fit it on my minimal amount of shelving/storage.  Here it is!

Kittykill was an angel and sent me this great bag!  It has lots of pockets, fits snugly under my shoulder, and is wide and long enough to fit lots of library books.  In fact, after I took this pic I went to the library and hauled back 12 books!

snacker received from me!  Here's what I sent:

recipe cards featuring peppers   plant markers for the seeds I sent   a pepper-shaped caliente charm   gardening gloves

pepper fabric                            a kitschy pot                      a clay pot                 a sculpeyed sunflower magnet

seeds                  a real dried gerbera daisy in a deep frame    an invisible necklace with green beads and glass  pepper

cacti n succulent potting mix   a woven plastic farmer's market bag   homemade abrasive soap that has cornmeal and dried orange peel in it

Not Pictured:  sheet protected printout with notes on peppers and how to raise cacti

I think I may have gone a little overboard on this swap, but to be fair, snacker sent me a lot of great stuff, too.  Most of these are just cute little things.

I received from Psyche!
She sent me....  a totally cool Super Mario World T-Shirt!  My fav game!  And it has a Mario on Yoshi patch on the sleeve!  (I'm in my PJs, so no action shots as of yet)

A black zippered pouch that has a velcroed pocket on the inside AND it had these patches in it!  Rattly from Donkey Kong 2.  He was my favorite little animal because when he jumped his little tongue would wiggle.  Mushrooms! Mitzi from Animal Crossing.  She's stayed in my town the longest so I made her a flower garden. Plus I send cool clothes to her.

Earrings!  The Tanooki Suit from Super Mario 3 and a Boo!  I'm totally wearing one of these pairs to work today.

But that's not all...  candy!
Smarties.  I know the US has a candy called these, but it's not the same, and their website says not to confuse them with Nestle's Smarties.  http://www.smarties.com/index.html
And a super cool retro Nintendo candy case.  I think this may become a display piece once it's empty  Wink
It's funny, the second language on these is French whereas in the US it's always Spanish.

Thanks, psyche!
