1  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Socks on: May 17, 2012 03:25:36 PM
Okay, so a friend of mine has asked me to crochet him a pair of socks, and I know it can be done.  But I'm not really finding pictures that I like. Any suggestions for where to look for good sock patterns that are male appropriate.  I don't think he'd appreciate a pair of lacy socks!
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Wedding Bouquet on: February 09, 2012 05:12:23 PM
My fiancee proposed at the beginning of December so now the planning begins!

While looking through magazines of Wedding Crafts I decided I want to crochet my bouquet.  I've looked at a couple of patterns, but I don't like any of them the way they are written/presented/photographed.

I decided that I need to back up and just start collecting and practicing flower patterns.  I think this way I can put together an original(ish) bouquet using flowers and colors of my choosing.

I would love any tips, suggestions, advice, etc of flower patterns, bouquet patterns, yarn suggestions, or really anything that could help in this endeavor.

I have 15 months to figure this out and put it together, but I want to start early so that I can be sure that I have pattern execution down so that I can carry my best creation down the aisle.

Thank you for any help you can offer!
