12  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Just got the Barbie Knitting Machine (AKA Matel Knitter Machine) NOW WHAT???? on: September 09, 2003 11:36:29 AM
Hey everyone!

I just picked up the Barbie knitting machine for a $1 at a local thrift store and I want to use it but I am not sure for what.

It is one of those machines that knits a tube about 3 - 4 inches in diameter.

Does anyone know where I can find patterns and ideas?

Thanks,
Morgan

When in Vancouver you have to check Urban Source.  http://www.urbansource.bc.ca

It has so many wonderful goodies and it is all recycled materials!

Check it out!

14  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / New crafting biz - need inventory tracking advice on: September 02, 2003 06:35:37 PM
I am new to running a business and I am trying to figure out the best way to track inventory (earrings, necklaces, other) and ways to decide which items will be for wholesale and which items I will sell full price.

I am thinking about using Excel and create a spreadsheet - any suggestions?

Thanks,

Morgan
