135  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / tape belt buckle on: June 13, 2005 10:57:41 AM
I tried this on a simple recordable cassette first, originally i was going to use an actual band tape but i decided to make a prototype first..
i had an old eyelet belt so cut it up and salvaged the buckle and the belt it self was used later
i drilled 3 holes in the back of the tape i was convinced it was gonna shatter and explode in my face it was very dramatic,
one screw was used for the bit that pokes through the belt.
the others were put through  a piece of the belt which was folded over to secure the buckle in place.
I colored the entire thing including the screws with a cd pen i might draw a band logo or something with correction fluid of something
