1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Five Row Beaded Cuff Wrap Bracelet Tutorial Link on: May 15, 2012 06:26:03 PM
After I made the Triple Row Beaded Wrap Bracelet Tutorial I wanted to see if I could figure out how to make it with more rows. I had to do it five bead rows wide because I needed a even amount of cords so I could do macrame knots. When I figure out how to do it I went searching on the internet to see if anyone has made a tutorial on one before. I couldn't find any tutorials, but I did find several expensive five row beaded wrap bracelets. I thought I would share how to do it five bead rows wide.

Five Row Beaded Cuff Wrap Bracelet Tutorial here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hf3achKAN6U&list=UUayXdktyKEoJr7kQcEYXZhA&index=1&feature=plcp

I also made my own loom. Here is the tutorial if you want to make one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NPXyIdA1ah4&feature=channel&list=UL

If you didn't see my Triple Row Beaded Wrap Bracelet Tutorial here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9G7_EU6_QuA&feature=channel&list=UL

My macrame clasp area measures out at 2 1/4 inches. So to make a 8 inch bracelet you will need 5 3/4 inches of beads. For a 7 1/2 inch bracelet you will need 5 1/4 inches of beads. I am using a large button so that also makes my bracelet longer.

Materials needed:
beads I'm using 4mm beads but you can use 6/0 seed beads
Large shank button
beading needle size 10 or one that will fit though you beads at least 3 times
3-35 inch pieces of cotton cords
7ft. of fireline 6lb up to a 10lb. test

I really love making these bracelets they are so much fun. What a lot of people don't know about the triple row wrap bracelet is that the technique for making it is just like a loom stitch. Instead of using thread I use cords and instead of 11/0 seed beads I use 6/0 seed beads up to 9mm beads. If you would like to make this Triple Row Beaded Wrap Bracelet go to my video tutorial here is the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9G7_EU6_QuA&list=UUayXdktyKEoJr7kQcEYXZhA&index=1&feature=plcp

You will need 5 1/2 inches of beads to make a 7 1/2 inch bracelet.
You will need 6 inches of beads to make a 8 inch bracelet.
The beads in the center of the bracelet need to be the same width as the beads used on the sides of the bracelet.

Materials needed:
Beads of your choice
2-28 to 30 inches of cotton cord or a cord flexible enough to tie knots
Large Shank button
size 10 beading needle or a needle that will pass though your beads at least 3 times
7ft. of Fireline 6lb. test up to a 10lb. test

Tools needed:
loom or sometime that would serve the purpose of a loom
clear nail polish

4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Sun Burst beaded Charm, Pendant and Earring Tutorial Link on: April 22, 2012 08:30:24 PM
I have mostly used this design as earrings and then my imagination got the best of me and this necklace was born. Several of these would look amazing in a charm bracelet with beads on head pins. I usually make this little charm with two colors of seed beads like black 6/0 and white 11/0 you can do that if you like. Summer is coming so I used bright vibrant colors in this necklace. Please comment I would love to hear from you.
Here is the tutorial link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZqX-8tZqcbQ

Materials needed:
2 ft. of 8.lb or 10.lb test fishing line fireline should also work

5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Chic Beaded Ring Tutorial Link on: April 22, 2012 07:58:45 PM
This is a great ring if your a beginner and want to learn more about beading. You can use different bead sizes to make this ring. In the video I used 1-7mm bead and 2-5mm beads to make the ring. You can also use 1-8mm bead and 2-6mm beads using these larger beads will make the ring bigger. If you have left over or oddball beads in your bead stash they will be perfect for this ring.
Here is the tutorial link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6pEWBDo_cs&feature=channel&list=UL

Materials needed:
2 ft. of 8lb. or 10lb. test fishing

6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Royal Beaded Pendant Tutorial Link on: April 06, 2012 06:39:12 PM
Awhile ago I posted three of these royalty necklaces some of you might recognize them. I now have a video tutorial if anyone would like to make this pendant. This is the most advanced beading tutorial that I have made so far. I tried to explain it the best that I can so I hope that everyone can understand. Below are the beads that you will need to make one pendant, but you will need more for the rest of the necklace. I would love to know if anyone makes this.

7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Exquisite Beaded Ring and Pendant Tutorial Link on: March 24, 2012 09:09:12 PM
I was going to post this tutorial last night but my video was screwy. I think its fixed now. I just recently came up with this design and love its versatility. It uses very little materials and doesn't take very long to make. The ring and pendant are the size of a quarter. Materials listed below make one ring or pendant if you want to make both double your materials. Tutorial here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMGxRbD1BuE&list=UUayXdktyKEoJr7kQcEYXZhA&index=1&feature=plcp

Materials needed:
40 inches of 8.lb or 10.lb test monofilament fishing line
4-3mm round beads
4-5mm beads bicones or round beads
4-8mm oval shaped beads
8-8/0 seedbeads
11/0 seedbeads

8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Easy Beaded Ball Tutorial Link on: March 12, 2012 07:45:50 PM
This beaded ball is best used in necklaces it can be worn on a chain, cord, or strung with beads. This Beaded Ball looks hard to make, but it is very easy. In the video I colored my strings ends two colors and used different colored beads to explain how it is made. You can use different kinds of beads to make one. This can be made with 2mm, 3mm, or 4mm beads. The larger the beads you use the bigger your beaded ball will turn out. Tutorial Link can be found here

Materials needed for Beaded Ball:
30 inches of monofilament fishing line
30 beads you can use 2mm, 3mm, 4mm
11/0 seedbeads
1 bead that will fit inside of your beaded ball snugly

This beaded ball is made with 6/0 and 11/0 seedbeads.

This one is made with 2mm rondelles and 11/0 seedbeads.

This one is made with 2mm coconut beads and seedbeads.

I made this one in the video. I used different colors in this bead so it's easier to understand how it is made.

9  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Swirl Wire Ring made from a clothes hanger on: March 06, 2012 06:57:20 PM
I saw this video a couple of weeks back and wanted to make this ring so bad but I didn't have the wire it called for.  I came across a aluminium clothes hanger I've never seen one before. Then remembered recently I saw crazydavises make a awesome necklace out of a hanger. YES! I could make the ring using a hanger so I did. After three broken finger nails and very sore hands this is what I ended up with. Sadly the ring is to big and doesn't look like a rose but I still like it. Here is the video if anyone would like to try it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9WVTysQAPo&feature=plcp&context=C3d51974UDOEgsToPDskLKGHsdR-yo3vLROn9LYXp4

10  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Beaded Button Ring Tutorial Link-Updated now with button shank instructions on: March 02, 2012 08:27:50 PM
I have seen buttons glued to ring shanks and wanted to figure out away to make my own version of a button ring with beads. I played around for hours to come up with this design.
In my videos I am going to start coloring both ends of my string two different colors. So it is easier to understand what beads I pick up or what beads I am going through. Thank you Crazydoc for this color coded string end idea hopefully it will be more helpful for everyone. Tutorial link below

Materials Needed:
3ft. of 8lb. test fishing line or 4ft. of 6lb. test Fireline will work even better
4-4mm round beads
6-3mm round beads
11mm four holed round button
11/0 seedbeads I used two colors

It is important to stay as close as possible to a 11mm four holed round button because it will deform the design 10mm or 12mm should be fine also.
This ring is done with a rivoli shank button. To find out how to do it with a shank button go to buttom of page.

The ring on the left was my experimental ring.

This is what the back of the rings looks like they are so comfortable.
