did you cover/back the newsprint with something to make it sew-able? It looks awesome as a sculpture!

Gorgeous! Very creative design!
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: PJ Pants (first ever pair of pants!) on: September 05, 2011 04:41:38 PM
Great job! They're super cute! I'd love to give making pants a try but I'm a bit afraid to because something like that pocket not laying flat would drive me up a wall Tongue
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Dotted and Striped! Summer Dresses on: August 27, 2011 12:51:46 PM
They're both awesome but I absolutely adore the dotted one!
5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Button Purse! on: August 04, 2011 10:18:30 AM
This is so cute! I adore that fabric and the buttons go with it incredibly well!

That's funny; I liked the shirt better than the pants  Wink The pants were nice but I felt like they had an odd bulge in the front that should have been fixed. Of course, I'm afraid to try pants, so it's not like I could do better

You could maybe move your stash to under your bed if you still have a lot? When we moved to an apt a few years ago I put my bed on risers and there's a ton of space underneath. Thankfully I try to limit how much fabric I keep lying around and force it to all fit in a basket because it's going to college with me next week!

The shirt looks like a great use of scraps! I love the front
8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Purple Drape Cardigan w/ link to tutorial on: July 31, 2011 10:55:08 AM
I am absolutely going to try this! I love how it looks. I might even have enough jersey in my stash, but then it would have really big blue flowers on it Tongue
9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Cocktail apron on: July 29, 2011 08:31:09 PM
Awesome fabric! I love the idea of a half-apron. I'm not an apron person and that's an adorable and fashionable alternative!

These are all great designs! If you don't mind sharing, what kind of fabric did you use for the first dress? I love the sweatery look it has
