Freakie's baby is due on my birthday. I'm pretty sure that means I get to give him presents.  Grin Address please, FG.

I have to join the bandwagon. Those hoops are wonderful! Great job, Averia!

Luck dragon, I've been trying to imagine how a zipper on the bottom would allow the storage cubes to flatten. Would you give more information about that? Otherwise I just might die of curiosity.  Wink

Lindy, your embroideries are beautiful! Yes, even the bat!

Tex, will be praying for endurance for you. Sounds like you have a huge job on your shoulders.

Bunny, we definitely need to see wedding photos!

AIMR, cute things for the auction. I have another small box I need to get in the mail to DM. Is it bad of me to be happier about getting crafts and supplies out of my house than about helping out Lana's group?Huh Happy to help her, but still . . .  Grin

Are we doing any subversive acts of creativity - art abandonment, yarn bombing, etc?

That's up to the group. I know several have talked about the possibility. It's not something that occurs where I live, so someone want to jump in and plan it?

but, wow...900 sheets of paper and over 100 TP rolls?  uh, we need to talk about this show called "Hoarders"....ha ha ha

Nope, definitely NOT a hoarder! That's what my father was. We weren't allowed to get rid of any of his stuff even though much of it was broken, worthless, or unbelieveably redundant, 40+ Coleman stoves for example or innumerable electric tools with burnt out motors.

I have a ton of stuff but I use it and am delighted to share what I have. That's why I'm in the Destash-along. I've been really good recently about decreasing my paper and fabric stashes and not replacing what I've used unless it's something I use constantly like glue, thread, Velcro, or interfacings. If you check my 50 in 2016 list you'll see that most of my projects have come at least 75% from stash. And that brings up two more items for the list:

YKYACW
. . . you have multiple stashes. In my case, a fabric stash, a paper stash, a yarn stash, an embroidery stash, a glitter stash, a pom-pom and pipe cleaner stash, a jewelry supply stash, plus tons of tools.

. . . you can create a wide variety of items (mostly from your stashes)

Love the warnings, Renstar. Several of them resonant all too much, especially the lost patterns. I have one WIP that I started about 35 years ago - a corduroy quilt done in the Grandmother's Flower Garden pattern - that I just keep hoping will rot away so I don't feel guilty about never finishing it. Seriously!

Love the graphic! Looks like I'll need to use the finest mesh screen to get a crisp print.

Your aunt is coming, too? That's awesome! Really turning into a family event.

Glad you liked your package, Onyxnox. The fabric is the first thing I bought for this swap. Once I saw it I knew I had to make something for you with it. Since I still have some scraps, you may be getting some other things in the future.

The young, lounging, Indian woman is a signed print by Cherokee artist Dana Tiger. She's one of my favorite local artists. She does both contemporary and traditional works and is shown in galleries and museums across the country. This is my favorite contemporary piece but isn't the one I was searching for to send you. I thought you might prefer one of her more traditional paintings.

The hat is 100% acrylic so no wool to worry about, but it's crocheted rather than knit. I can't knit a stitch! Grin

YKYACW you ask your dh to bring your sewing machine to your hospital room, and your most recent crochet project, and your fabric scissors, fabric, and teddy bear pattern (I was taking chemotheraphy at the time and was bored).

. . . you have your dh so well trained that he asks if you want to go to Michael's first or JoAnn's even though you haven't asked to go to either . . . yet!

. . . you're thinking about making a one hour trip each direction to a craft store just to buy a bottle of Tombow glue since you finished one bottle and can't find your spare. Maybe I need to buy a half dozen next time. . . just in case I run out again.

. . . you use 250 empty TP tubes for a class you're teaching yet when a friend says they need 100 for one of their projects you're able to hand them more than that without breaking a sweat . . . and still have a good supply of them left.

. . . you give away 900 sheets of scrapbook paper and can't tell that any is missing

. . . the kids can't move back home because their bedroom is now your craft room

. . . you don't ask silly questions like "What is that?" or "What are you going to do with that when it's finished?" but instead ask "What technique/paint/glue/pattern/etc. did you use?" or "Where can I get that paint/glue/pattern/yarn/etc.?"

. . . when you have as many friends on Craftster as you do off-line

Made our hotel reservations yesterday. If I understood correctly, Jackson Square Mall is attached to the hotel as is the Hamilton Farmers Market. If we forget to bring something, it sounds like we're well located to replace most  items. Not sure where the nearest craft supply stores are though. I'll need to do some more research on that.
