Sorry to be so slow to post photos especially when everything was so wonderful. We had a family member disappear Jan.30th. His body was found Sunday but his truck is still missing. We don't know if his truck is in a local lake or if it was stolen. Anyway, my mind has been in such a fog that I didn't realize I hadn't seen this gallery for awhile. I think my computer hates craftster because it keeps screwing up my notifications and won't always let me post photos.
I received from the fabulous kittykill almost a week ago. Hope you haven't given up on me posting, Pam. Photo bomb coming!
First, the really cute vintage style card
Then, a plush heart pillow that's larger than it seems in this photo
Kittykill made me a candy shrine using a box from one of her favorite Valentine candies plus it's the first shrine I've ever received! Lucky me!!!
Candy! I'm diabetic, so Kittykill tracked down sugarfree chocolate turtles (my favorite chocolate candy) and Lindt chocolates. There's also a lips sucker (like a ring pop). Yum! And she packaged the goodies in a sweet little mail box that she decorated for the holiday.
There was a package of chocolate dipped shortbread cookies, a rubber ducky that lights up, and a little pink pig suction toy. If I were a nicer person, I'd give the duck and the pig to my sis-in-law who collects pigs and rubber ducks. Nope! I'm keepin' these!
Kittykill crafted a papercone for me, cute in its own right, but then she lined it with a vintage handerchief. I had told her that I like "snarky", thus the 'sucker' embroidery. A nearby town holds a Sucker Day annually because they were hoodwinked by a con man decades ago. Rather than let that get them down, they celebrate it every year. I think the last laugh was on the con man.
Finally, I got a large mug that's perfect for hot chocolate or a cappuchino plus a gorgeous example of Kitty's embroidery skills, a felt cup cozy decorated with a heart, flowers, and paisley motifs, all design elements I love.
Thanks, Kittykill! I was so lucky to finally have you as a partner. Lindy, thanks for organizing, in between your trips to Disney, of course!
