OMG! You're stitching them all down by hand? Now I'm even more impressed!

Great re-purposing, trina! Seems like the new meds must be helping if you're already doing more crafting. Happy to see that.

CLM, I LOVE that woven snippets hoop! AIMR gives me a lot of teasing about my crumb quilts and my unwillingness to toss out little bits of fabric. Maybe you and I have even more in common than I thought.  Grin

BTW, DH was talking about you earlier today. We were watching the movie Dr. Strange when he commented that you seemed to just float through your home the way some of the characters in the film were doing, just quietly and gracefully. I don't think DH expected to enjoy himself as much as he did this summer, so it tickles me each time he makes a reference to one of my craftster friends. You're all such a wonderful group - how could he think otherwise of each of you?

Great job, Yofi! You've turned a functional eyesore into something useful AND pretty. Bet your friend loves it.

Just finished hemming 10 tablecloths tonight for my church. In order to get the length we needed, we had to buy cloths that were much too wide. Dh helped me measure and cut them to the right width two days ago, then today I added the replacement hem. A nice benefit is that the surplus amount is a perfect size to turn into table runners. I've only finished one for our church dinner on Sunday, but there's no rush to complete the other nine, so I'll probably wait until after Thanksgiving to deal with them.
105  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: 2016 Holiday Tag and Card Swap (sign ups by Oct 14, send by Nov 10) on: November 02, 2016 04:26:30 AM
I have a bazaar booth reserved (Nov.19) but nothing to put in it, so I'm making duplicates of my swap partners' cards as I go. Much easier to make multiples of the same design than to come up with sufficient stock by making only one-of-a-kind items. Glad I have my partners' lists to guide me into making a more diverse combination of cards.

Loving all the techniques! Makes me wish we'd had more time together this summer to do some cardmaking, Onyxnox. I've been thinking about you as I've made my cards. The expanded set of circle dies you gifted me has really helped since the set I had didn't always have the size I needed. I thought about using my Onyxnox original chickadee stamp for this swap and I see you've used it for one of Artmomto5's cards.  Grin

Trina, we've never swapped, never talked, wouldn't know one another from Adam, but your list is just before mine this year and I've noticed that you haven't posted anything. It's made me wonder how you were since I know from previous years that you've had some serious health issues. Just call me a "Mother Hen" but I've been concerned for you. Glad to see you've done some crafting and are willing to talk about your art. Hope your health improves and that the remainder of the year is better. By the way, the bottle is lovely!

I'd be jealous of the scrapbooking retreat except that I'm going to a papercrafting event all this Saturday. We usually do some cards there, so I'm holding off my card and tag making until after I see our demonstrator's projects. I did cut some card and tag blanks before sign-ups ended, so I think it may not take me a huge amount of time once I decide on the details.

You still have a brain, Lindy? I thought surely the zombies would have gotten it by now. I'm pretty sure they've been nibbling on mine! Cute, cute, cute hoopla!

I'm only in 2 swaps so I have slots open. Problem is that I'm being overwhelmed by non-swap crafting and family responsibilities. Think I'll have to pass on this after all. Bummer!
