deputy Head Noodle casts a Homunculus charm.... we are here!ATTENTION HPCers ONE AND ALL - ANNOUNCEMENT FOR NEXT TERM
I am preparing a special series of craft promts for you for next term, and decided to give you all a heads up about one aspect of this (hopefully) exciting challenge so that you may prepare yourselves if you wish....
you will have the option of working in TEAMS of up to 3 people for this challenge, reflecting the way team Potter / Weasley / Granger worked as a team and used their different strengths to work through challenges together!
I thought some of you may like to start discussing who you may like to work with in advance of the first part of the challenge being announced, hence this announcement.
obviously I don't want to give away too much about this challenge, but here are a few things you may like to know when sorting teams out...
- you DO NOT have to be in a team. You can play as an individual, a pair, or a trio.
- the challenge will be a series of craft prompts, which your team will need to complete in the specified order to qualify.
For example: if Mistress Jennie, FiberAlchemist and Abbeeroad are a team... maybe Jennie will craft for the first prompt, then they will decide that Abbee is the best person to craft for the second prompt, then Fiber for the next.
They may then decide to work together on the 4th prompt, with Fibre and Abbee each crafting a small element, then both sending those to Jennie for assembly, or maybe with Jennie drawing a design and emailing it to Abbee for her to build. There will be no requirement to craft in unison like this, it's just another option should you choose to use it
How exactly each team distributes work is up to them to negotiate on
- your teammates do not have to be in the same house as each other; this is about working together and not letting petty divisions of house divide us! For each individual prompt completed, the specific team member who finished it will receive the house points, and the whole team will progress along the challenge. for prompts. In situations where you craft in unison with members of different houses, each house will recieve points.
- you will need to DECLARE YOUR TEAM before you complete the first prompt
Feel free to ask questions, though I can't promise to answer them as I don't want to spoil the challenge reveal! There will be time to sort out your team during next term too, so new HPCers are in no way excluded! this is just to give a little head start to those who choose to use it
