This thread is inspiring. I definitely need to do something with my hair. I've done just about every color under the sun though they were unfortunately before my days of digital so I have just the last semi-mild phase on record. My hair is very fine and like someone mentioned before, it's really hard to get it past shoulder-length unless I'm super super nice to it (which means no fun). I decided a while ago to let my hair grow out as long as possible just to see how long I could get it and it's been great, but now I'm pretty frustrated. I have a super-long face too and long stick-straight hair isn't usually the best match. I kind of don't care because I can always cut it, but it takes FOREVER to grow back. I care enough now though that it's bothering me a bit. Wanna give some advice? Should I ignore the "no hair below your collar bone if you don't want to look like a long-faced skeleton" rule and let it keep growing? If so, should I get more curl put into it? Or is it hideous and I really just need to suck-it-up and cut it? Here are some pics:

Yes, I had braces until I was 20, and no - I no longer think I'm cool enough to pose in mirrors. lol
Bangs - I feel like this is a good balance, but it's a lot of work to make my bangs not get greasy in 5 hours:
My super-long hair. I try to curl it so that it doesn't look so nappy, but curls fall out quickly. These pics were taken on the same night a few hours apart and they had already fallen:
Long and straight, does it make me look sickly?
Sorry to bust up a great thread with lame hair woes.
Feel free to pass right on by. :-)
