31  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / loop-d-loop ballet top :: modified :: on: June 16, 2005 07:27:07 AM
Hey guys --

so i just finished the ballet top from loop-d-loop but i modified it a bit.  first of all, i was really excited because i haven't attempted to do a raglan top but was really impressed with the outcome!  Smiley
ok, now to the mods:  i used a smaller yarn (i am so not into the chunkyness when it comes to clothing - scarves, well that is more like it) and then i only did 2 increase rows after the decreases and i lengthened it.  if you want a lengthier explaination, just let me know...

sorry the pics are all weird and shadowy -- it is a really sheer top.

thanks for looking!  Wink[/color]

33  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / multi color mohair blanket -- quilt style... on: May 20, 2005 10:27:14 AM
I made this out of a lot of mohair.  it was fun to make however as i was finishing it the stores came out with better variety of mohair colors so there wasn't as much of the colors i really wanted in the finished product... enjoy!
(sorry about the photo quality)

34  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / knitted mock pleat skirt with heart detail - sweetness! on: March 10, 2005 10:21:22 AM
so this is a skirt i just made.  when i started it my intention was for it to be a shirt, but as the pattern was taking shape, it seemed more fitting (and flattering) as a skirt.
i was really proud of my knitted hearts too!  Cheesy
