2  CLOTHING / Shoes: Discussion and Questions / Re: Ideas for modifying Boots & Slippers? on: January 01, 2012 06:57:52 AM
I think that a thick piece of black sweater ribbing for the boot insert would look great.

4  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Lion Brand Yarn Studio Blanket on: November 03, 2011 05:17:39 AM
I started this project back in January 2011 and just completed it 2 weeks ago! It doesn't take that long to make, I am just slow. It is like snuggling in a big sweater. I love it. Hope you enjoy! I got the pattern from Lion Brand Yarn 'studio blanket': http://www.lionbrand.com/cgi-bin/patternRating.cgi?showReview=1&itemKey=1922244908

7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Chevron skirt from thrifted tunic on: October 29, 2011 03:34:15 PM

I cut off the bodice and made a waistband from black stretchy knit material. I made the band an inch or so smaller than my waist for a snugger fit and then sewed it onto the skirt fabric. It is a little wonky around the waist but I plan to wear the tops over the waist anyways.
