1  The Fantastically Sublime Steampunk Entomology Book in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by michellaneous on: January 13, 2011 01:29:29 PM

It has taken me a while, but from an old leather bag I found at the op-shop I crafted this book for a special person (studying to be a myrmecologist). The paper is good quality 200gsm, so he can watercolour and use ink. I hand stitched the leather on the back of the cover. It's not perfect- a few lumpy bits can be seen under the endpapers where I glued the leather on- but I'm pretty damn proud! (As you may tell from the title- hope it doesn't amp the expectations too much). Anyways, here she is.... hope you enjoy Cheesy

Hello... here's some little friends I made, the monacle monster was made as a study buddy for my boyfriend for uni, and the pincusion just for fun. He keeps me company while crafting.

Hey craftsters, long time lurker here... just want to say that I love this site- it is the source of much inspiration! So I finally got my butt into gear and joined after making some books. And now I'm obsessed with bookbinding... it's great! So here they are.. hope you like them. Any ideas/comments/criticism most welcome.
