3  CANADA / Atlantic Canada / Re: please tell me im not the only Newfoundlander on: September 05, 2005 07:15:30 PM
Hi guys! I'm from Newfoundland, too. I'm living in St. john's now to go to school and I work in the Avalon mall. The flea markets on Sundays are ok but it seems like a lot of the same things are repeated.
I don't usually make many things-just some reconstructed clothes or purses. I juts go on this site for hours at a time, get a million ideas, and then never really finish everything. But I love this site though.....and I'm happy that I'm not the only newfie. Smiley

I really like that skirt and most of all I love how it ties at the bottom. Very cute. Smiley

Shocked How did you make that?! I love it.

You make it sound as if it's horrible. I like it. It's really cute but it is a little plain. Maybe a patch or flower is something. But I still like it.

:)I love both of them. Could you post a tut?
8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: first shirt from scratch on: June 11, 2005 02:54:03 PM
I really like that shirt. I'd keep the bow on. It adds a little something extra since the shirt doesn't have a print.
AND..my name is Katrina, too! (Just thought I'd mention that. hehe).
9  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Father's Day / help me get (or make) something for my dad! on: June 05, 2005 09:18:54 AM
I want to get my dad something nice for Father's Day this year. He never tells me what he wants and so, he usually ends up with a t-shirt or something. lol.
Anyway about my dad.....
*he's a carpenter (but already has pretty much every tool ever made...or at least it seems like it)
*he's really the outdoors type - likes to fish, hunt, camp....

So, can anyone give me any good ideas???
10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: the Amazing, Spectacular THREE HOUR Formal Dress (with no pattern!) on: June 03, 2005 05:33:10 PM
I can't believe you made that in 3 hours!
And before I read any posts, I thought that he looked like Ashton. Guess he really does...wasn't just me who thought it.
