1  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Green jewelry covered mirror on: September 02, 2013 06:54:24 PM
I LOVE THIS.  I have so much old costume jewelry, too!  It looks almost like you have a glittery base under the jewelry.  What are they adhered with?

3  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Scraps from old costumes and a cardboard box became a custom kitty bed. on: January 21, 2013 05:39:03 PM
I've made a few kitty beds like this; this one is the most recent.  The outer, longer fur was from a Fraggle Rock costume I made in 2006.  It hung around in a tub until I tore it apart and made this!

Link is to an album of images that document progress.

4  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects / I found a crazy cat fabric and made a foofy skirt with it. on: January 21, 2013 05:34:34 PM
Took about 3 hours with breaks for dinner and other things.  No pattern, just gathered the fabric and stitched a band over the gathered bits.  Has a hidden side zipper.

I can't post pictures yet, so here is a link to the photo:

5  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Re: Ripley's Believe It Or Not! Wants My Dress on: June 01, 2011 07:52:16 PM
They're undercutting you because you're a young & "unknown" artist.  The cost to you in soda tabs alone justifies a higher buying price.

Tell them it's worth far more to you than that.
