I love the variety of Bec's cards and tags.  And more FABric tags from artsycandice.  This gallery rocks!

I love seeing non-paper tags and cards.  Really cool results!

I thought celebrate the season was a most appropriate greeting (is it Halloween or Christmas Smiley ) For the popping, my stamping group sometimes say pop-its which might be a brand name or 3D/dimensionals.

Here are the amazing tags and cards I received from Smashu (which I keep typing Smashy everytime I type your name.)  They feature original artwork!  And the backgrounds are perfect.

Cards First:

I love the scenic background here.  The slant of the tree is whimsical.

Look at his nose!!!  Isn't it adorable.

The background and the candy canes on the front match perfectly.

This card even has wire on the front!

I couldn't pick a favourite.  They are all wonderful.  I really like the size of these cards too.  I tend to stick to making 5.5x4.25 sized cards and it's a great reminder to think outside of my box.

The tags coordinate with the cards.  The background of the tree matches the light bulb card.  And in the next picture you will see the theme repeated again.  The back tag is made from chalkboard paper!

That adorable nose again and cute light bulbs!

I am going to have a very hard time parting with these tags and cards.  Thanks so much Smashu! I love them.

oooooooh - lucky duck!!!  OK, so the are all those stamps Stampin' Up stamps???

All of them except the Happy Birthday on the watercolour card.

The handmade stamp is from a set called Better then email.  It's meant to be used on the back of cards but I never do that.  I bought it specifically for tags.

Thank you all for the kind words!  I always get a bit of anxiety before sending so I spend quite a bit of time planning what to make.

As for my stamp collection; it's pretty good.  However, my secret is my mom is a Stampin Up demonstrator and we have an agreement that my stamps are hers and vice versa.  It helps quite a bit.  A couple weekends ago we both went to a scrapbooking retreat and that's where I made most of the tags.  I was able to use my stamps, mom's and the hostess' stamps.  Lots of selection that way.

Who says cards can't be given on Halloween?

I designed this card for a swap a few months back.  I used back embossing powder for the raven stamp to give the card a main point of interest and different texture.  The top feather has been popped up using some dimensional tape.  If you look closely you can see that the background paper has a raven perched on the candelabra.

Main Supplies used:

Stamps - CTMH Quoth the raven and Stampin' Up Four Feathers
Cardstock - Grey (the shade is a bit darker than the photo depicts) and cream
The paper was something I've had in my stash for years.
Black embossing powder

Flygirl, are you planning on shipping the items from the US to the US? Or from the US back to Canada? Flat rate boxes come in 3 sizes (and an envelope) the small box is pretty dang small, about the size of a VHS tape, so bulky heavy items don't work very well in them. Although medium and large flat rate boxes are significantly larger than the small, so they would work for heavier/bulkier items. I almost always use extra tape, I just don't trust their tiny pre sticky sticker to hold everything together! Some boxes also don't have the pre sticky sticker on them so you have to use your own tape (or the post offices, if they're nice). Lastly, I don't think it's unethical at all, if you are in the US, you should be free to use their services!

Thanks so much!  That really helped.  The plan is for sending US to US Smiley
