Hi everyone, I was a little confused over my partners and thought I was waiting on confirmation of changes, but can see who I've been linked with on this thread.

So apologies for my silence! I am excited to get these envelopes stuffed and know just what I am going to put in.....yay! I have bought the envelopes but might send them inside a bigger envelope, just to be on the safe side Smiley

Oh, sorry! I'm excited to be partnered with you, though Smiley

Thanks for the info on contact paper, smmarrt! That's really good to know.

I think I'll make the envies but for my international partners I'll send the stuffed envies inside flat rate envies. It looks like it'll be cheaper that way!

Hi Ladies!! After FIVE days without power, we finally re-joined the electronic world when it was restored to us yesterday!! WOO HOO! I lost power right when partners were assigned, and I have been in a little contact, and have been able to read the questionnaire off my phone, and take some notes, but I'm gonna go back and look more closely. I'm excited to be able to give this swap more attention now! And, to have my house air conditioned again!!

I'm so happy for you, johnson.mom2two! Welcome back to the electronic world Smiley

The boxes for swaps are off the kitchen table, so I am assuming that DH took them to mail.

Has anyone heard from Quaggy?  Cry

Still working away! Smiley got back from the lake Sunday with loads of chores after being gone 10 days.  I did manage to finish 1 item and make headway on a 2nd while on vacation!  I also found an item at an antique store in Huntsville to use with one of my crafted items for miss barbara.  Can hardly wait for her to see it.  I need to finish up 2 things sitting on my sewing table and make 1 other item then package and send! Grin  I worked Mon. and Tues and am now on vacation for 12 more days!  Lots of crafting time as at least 5 days here before heading back to the lake!

She posted this a couple of days ago, Miss Barbara.

I had a bit of an epiphany last night. I was thinking about how to make an envelope water-resistant and resistant to being torn apart in postal machine and a little lightbulb went on and said: clear contact paper! I don't know if it'd actually work. I covered a 12x12 piece of card stock it it and folded it into an envelope shape with the paper on the outside and contact paper on the inside. Has anyone tried this?

I'm a definite probably  Smiley Hmm, I don't know if those plans were ever settled. I think there was talk of crafting during the meet-up and then exchanging but I think that got topped by something else...I could go back and check but I'm being lazy right now  Grin

I had been wanting to make my envie out of some nice paper Wink But am not really sure I can send those international :/ So i'll stick with the normal bought ones i already have and half stuffed!
My partner is easy Cheesy One time through her pinterest and there's a lot i can make for her...
Hmmm, does it really have to be A5 envie? xD
Lol, happy crafting to ya all Grin

Same here! I have many, many ideas of what to make plus tons of stuff set aside to send. The hard part is going to be deciding what will go in the envie.

Other partners, you the same goes for you!

And now to use one of these Uncle Sam smilies:  Smiley

Oh my gosh that hoop is fabulous! Awesome fabulous!

Alatarial, your swap goodies from Mwahaha look amazing as well! Please, please can you tell me more about them? Is that a purse I see and a jewelry set? Can you describe them to tide me over until the cameral turns up? I'm having vintage cravings. Smiley

I received from StickerChic87 today! Behold the awesome goodness!

First up we have an amazing Abbey Road pillow cover! This seriously rocks and is absolutely perfect for me! I don't know if I ever told Sticker this or if she is just psychic but my entire family has a thing for this album cover. This couldn't be better! AND the mustard, golden yellow is one of my favorite colors!

Holy wow, people, look at these matryoshkas! They are priceless. Look at the faces and the hair! Have you ever seen better hair? I haven't! I have no idea how she got it so perfect. It looks like an embroidery machine did it! No kidding! It is professional quality. And the flowers are just wonderful too! Sticker, these are gorgeous.

My birthday was last week so the ever-thoughtful Sticker sent me a birthday card (also professional-quality and perfectly me). There's a lace hair clippy too with the coolest button center and a coin from the Caymans that has been turned into a magnet! I collect anything from anywhere besides where I live Smiley There're also pamphlets and postcards from Sticker's vacation during this swap (that's a build-your-own Lincoln Memorial one on top! A crafty postcard!) and a travel-themed journal with orange stripes! Does not get more me, folks. Seriously.

And finally we have an item I have been coveting on pinterest for a while now:

A lotus pincushion! I love the shape: so fun to pat and poke at! I didn't think it'd be this much fun but it is! I love it so much.

She even put a button in the middle!

Sticker, if we partner again I'm going to have to put 911 on speed dial because I don't think the old ticker can't take any more near-heart attacks induced by awesome swap packages and I'm only 27! Smiley It's a risk I'm willing to take Cheesy

Thank you so, so much for everything. I love it, adore it and appreciate it all. Thank you!

I just got my package from StickerChic87 and it rocks! This is our 4th(?) time swapping but I never get used to how awesome she is. I'll get pics up later today so prepare yourselves.
Thank you, Sticker!
