21  Re: Ongoing ATC Swap -- February 2017 Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by MissingWillow on: March 10, 2017 03:06:18 AM
I have two gorgeous pieces of art to share.  Mandykaye went with my house-shaped theme and made me this beautiful little abode.  She said she recently bought a bunch of cute little stamps and has been wanting to try them out.  She also included some little extra images for me to play with.

It's not just house-shaped, it's a trifold card that opens to reveal a little town.  Clever!

Bunny1kenobi claimed my advent calendar theme and went to town on it!  I was blown away to discover it's functional.  I can't imagine how long this took to make!

All of the tiny doors open to reveal a holiday image behind each one.  I am intrigued by the little 'knobs'.  Are they tiny game markers of some sort?

Thank you both for these fantastic additions to my collection!  I am smitten.   Smiley

Lucky me, I received three ATCs from bunny1kenobi!  First up, for my side show theme, she sent me an awesome bearded lady in a stripey circus-y tent.

For my cabinet of curiosities theme, she also threw in a little side show magic with the feejee mermaid.

Finally, for Titanic she made a gorgeous vintage collage.

Thank you so much for the beautiful art!

My turn to share the wonderful cards I received this weekend.  First up from mandykaye is a good fortune rune spellbook page, along with some gelli prints she made with hand carved stamps she received from another Craftster.  Thank you!

Curiousfae made me a card in my house shaped theme.  It opens up for a fantastic surprise... it's a bird house!  Thank you!  I love this swap!

CuriousCoffee literally blew me away with the pocket letter she sent!!!  She combined two of my themes into one:  Edward Gorey Zombie Sheep.  How awesome is that??  I wish I had a set of greeting cards with these images.  Heck, they'd even become my Christmas cards.   Cheesy She sent some awesome extras, too, including some inchies.  Thank you thank you thank you!

My turn!  I received the most wonderful package from lindyv321, she chose my bee theme.  Isn't it great?

The extras included heart confetti, bee stickers, tags and some miniature chocolate frog cards!

Thank you so much, Lindy!  I love it all!

26  Moon Phase Scarf in Machine Embroidery: Completed Projects by MissingWillow on: January 01, 2017 10:52:42 AM
I got out my embroidery machine to make a few holiday gifts this year, including this moon phase winter scarf.  The material is a very soft wool blend.  My original plan was to make it into an infinity scarf but it wouldn't lay right so I went to plan B.   Smiley

Mistress Jennie sent my daughter Claire the cutest ornaments!  A cute scrappy Ravenclaw owl and a Battle of Hogwarts ornament.  I love the crystal she added at the bottom.

In addition, she sent me some really great crafty extras!  Twine, ribbon, gift bag, paper chain kit, the cutest little house tin and CHOCOLATE!

Thanks so much, Jennie!!!

28  Chocolate Frog Wizard Card Ornaments in Winter Holidays by MissingWillow on: December 13, 2016 02:07:58 PM
I sent these as extras for my partners in the Harry Potter Holidays swap this year.  Chocolate frog cards featuring one of their favorite wizards.  I found the card templates online.  The hardest part was cutting out the window where I secured the wizard photos.    Cheesy

So sorry to hear about your family's sadness, Edel.

I sent one of the chocolate frog card ornaments, some store bought and homemade popcorn toppings (because she had a request for some in her Craftster signature  Smiley ) and a Harry Potter tea party ornament (because Edel loves miniatures).  I made the cookies from poly clay.

My turn to post some truly lovely Harry Potter gifties.  I'm about to explode the gallery, sorry in advance.   Cheesy

EdelC sent me some fun extras.  I do this swap on behalf of my daughter every year but I'm not passing on chocolate from Ireland!  She's not getting the mushrooms, either because I'm in the middle of a project that they'll be perfect for.   Smiley

She is gonna love the time turner.  Seriously.

She's started a Harry Potter Christmas tree, this 'always' patronus ornament is just gorgeous!

Thank you so much, Edel!  You're going to make Claire very happy this Christmas.

Pottermouth sent some of her miniature magic here...  "Anything from the trolley, dears?"  It's the Honeydukes Express!

Everywhere you look is something new to discover.

There are lollypops, jelly slugs, candy wands, white chocolate owls and chocolate frogs everywhere.

Bertie Botts Every Flavored Beans and sweets of all kinds.

A cauldron cake nestled amongst the jelly candies.

Scabbers is resting next to some pumpkin pasties!

Drooble's Best Blowing Gum next to some sugar quills!

You totally outdid yourself, Pottermouth.  Thank you so much!  I actually considered making her one of these myself.  This is so much better!   Cheesy

You ladies both are so awesome, thank you!
