1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Bleach stencil crazy! on: August 07, 2010 11:03:41 PM
Niiiiice.  I love them.  I've done a little bit of painting bleach on shirts with paintbrushes, and I've always been afraid of weakening the fabric or something by using too much bleach.  Did you use straight bleach, a 50/50 bleach/water solution or what?  I especially love those dinosaur ones.
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: A dress....FOR ME!! on: August 07, 2010 10:53:51 PM
Beautiful.  The fit is perfect on you.  Out of curiosity, what pattern did you use?
3  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Doctor Who Weeping Angel Statue (from an Altered Fashion Doll) on: August 07, 2010 10:48:50 PM

This ranks right up there with the gas mask zombie people.  *shudders*   I would be afraid to blink if that thing were in the house, despite the fact that it's paper mache.
4  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Earth Day Recycled Earth Crayons! on: July 28, 2010 10:19:08 PM
Cute crayons.

("If paper is made out of trees, why don't we just make new trees out of paper?")
I love kids.
5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: can this be my little black dress? on: July 28, 2010 10:12:49 PM
Elegant and understated.  I particularly love the row of buttons down the back.  Did you use a pattern or come up with one yourself?
6  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Dr. Who Travel Sewing Kit on: July 26, 2010 09:36:08 PM
Awesome.  I love the way it opens up.  You're extremely talented.  =)

On a semi-related note, what's with all the Dr. Who crafts cropping up?  Do they just stick in my mind more than slightly more mundane crafts, or was there a recent swap or something?  I'm liking the trend, though!
7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Kinda Gibbous-inspired Top on: July 25, 2010 10:14:15 PM
I love your take on the whole gibbous trend.  I have one question about the fitting, though: if you take the pattern from a camisole, you lose the stretch that camisole fabrics usually have.  Does your top have darts or any other provisions to accommodate boobs?  I really need to get off my butt, break out that free motion foot, and try this.

Oh, and the ruffle's not too much.  It's really quite subtle; I like it!
8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Darwin Evolution of Man Acrylic Necklace on: July 25, 2010 10:01:39 PM
Amazing and clever!  Now I really need to see all of your other science-themed necklaces.
9  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: TARDIS Light Switch on: July 25, 2010 09:37:56 PM
Ohmygodiwantone.  Now.  You had a good idea with that light switch.  =)
10  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Bookmark Swap Round 3 (Signups 07/15-08/05, Send-outs 09/05) on: July 17, 2010 09:45:18 PM
I didn't sign up for the newbie swap which means I'll be a first-timer, but my books (and I'm sure the books of others) need relief from being dog-eared.  I'm doing it for the sake of my books, I swear!
