Thanks for all your kind words! There was no pattern, I just sort of made it on a whim. I ran across a lovely skein of bulky wool blend yarn in a dark heather grey and I had to take it home with me. It should be pretty easy to recreate if you'd like to give it a try!
The scarf itself is done with the tunisian stitch. The border along the long edge is a simple single crochet edging alternating black and white worsted weight cotton yarn. The short edge border uses the same simple border in solid black. Jack's face is just a simple circle in the white yarn, with details stitched in black.
