I love the second Noro Kureyon pair. Is the diamond thing a pattern or just the way it looks before it's felted (sorry if that's a dumb question).

I also really love the striped pair that you made for your friend. They are super cute and look like they will be very warm.

the recon looks great! but i kinda like the "we saved this from a fire" look of the original.

The "saved from a fire" look is what drew me to it in the first place. The first picture is from the old apartment with bad lighting. When we got it to the current place, it looked more like it was salvaged from the theater storeroom.

Sadly, I don't think this dresser will make it through another move. The back is coming off and the bottom is falling out. I'm going to try and make her last, but I don't hold out a lot of hope.

If it makes it through another move, I'll definitely have to repaint the top and probably touch up the corners or I may just pick another color and start all over Cheesy

My husband is in the Air Force and we move quite a bit. I don't like to spend a lot of money on furniture since it gets damaged when we move, so I found this awesome dresser at The Salvation Army to use as our TV stand. Well, our previous apartment didn't have great lighting. We thought the dresser looked amazing and we were always happy with it.

Then we moved.

We saw the dresser for what it truly is and I decided that I just could not live another moment with that ugly thing stinking up my living room.

Step 1: Sanding

Tip: Try not to smoke and sand at the same time. It won't really hurt any thing, but you might drop your cigarette.

Here's a closeup of the door. There were some weird, hard spots that looked like paste. I had to sand those off and it didn't occur to me to take pictures before sanding them off.

Step 2:  ......

I hope you guys like this as much as I do.

So cute! I think i have to make these for my daughter now. She has cute, pointy pixie ears and these would be great for photos.
