11  Teeny Tiny Cast of Futurama in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by heatheres76 on: September 25, 2010 03:03:11 PM
I'm in the process of upcycling an old Clue game into a Futurama themed clue game for my brother. I finished making the "suspects" pieces-- Fry, Leela, Farnsworth, Bender, Hermes, and Zoidberg. I also made one of the weapons, a little brain slug.

A (blurry) penny shot to give an idea of just how small they are.

I'm really happy with how they turned out. I might make another set and turn them into charms for a really geeky bracelet.

12  Doctor Who Clue (very image heavy) in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by heatheres76 on: February 24, 2010 06:40:10 PM
My best friend (and I) are huge Doctor Who fans. Inspired by this fabulous personalized Clue project https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=307266.0 , I decided to make her a Doctor Who Clue game for her birthday. It was a time consuming project, but fairly simple to execute. I used an old clue game that I found at Value Village, some fimo, and a ton of printer ink.

The box:

A couple of the "rooms" on the game board. I took some liberties here, as I figured that the crime could have occurred anywhere in time and space.

The weapon cards:

And the location cards:

The suspect cards:

The player pieces, all made from fimo. The Doctor, Rose, Martha, Donna, The Master, and K-9:

The "weapons" also made from fimo:

Finally, the worksheets and answer envelope, featuring the victim Captain Jack Harkness.

This is my first project post. I was so proud of this project that I had to show it off!
